• (G)I-DLE Takes Over China’s 2024 Year-End Charts with Huge Wins for "EP of the Year" and "Longest Charting Song"

    (G)I-DLE has proven their superstar status once again, dominating not only in Korea but also in China with their impressive achievements in 2024!

    According to the TME 2024 YEAR-END CHART from China’s biggest music platform, Tencent Music, the group (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua) achieved incredible success with their second full-length album "2" (Two), their 7th mini-album "I SWAY," and Yuqi’s solo mini-album "YUQ1."

    Their mini-album "I SWAY" earned the top spot as the "EP of the Year" on Tencent Music’s K-pop chart, thanks to its standout title track "Klaxon," which dominated the charts for four consecutive weeks.

    Not stopping there, (G)I-DLE’s hit track "I Hate Being Sick" (Fate) from the album "2" smashed records by becoming the "Longest Charting Song" of the year, staying on the K-pop chart for an incredible 37 weeks.

    Meanwhile, Yuqi shined with her solo debut, proving her star power in China. Her mini-album "YUQ1" landed at #2 for "Album of the Year," and its title track "FREAK" was selected as the #8 "Song of the Year," showcasing her huge impact as a solo artist.

    Earlier, "I Hate Being Sick" also showcased its dominance in Korea, ranking #1 and #2 on major platforms Genie Music and Melon’s year-end charts, respectively.

    (G)I-DLE continues to set records and win hearts worldwide, cementing their place as one of the most successful girl groups of this generation. Fans are already looking forward to what they’ll achieve next.

  • Kwon Min Ah worries fans with emotional post about fear and self-blame: “Everything feels scary, I need to get it together”

    Former AOA member Kwon Min Ah—who opened up in the past about being bullied—has once again shared a deep and emotional message on social media, leaving fans feeling concerned and sending love.

    On April 23, Min Ah took to her Instagram to write:
    “I don’t know if I’ve become completely twisted, or if I’m just scared. Maybe I’m afraid the same thing will happen again. Everything feels scary. And I want to say something sharp to myself too—get it together.”

    Along with the message, she posted a selfie where she wore a red knit top, had her hair half-up, and showed a soft pout with a calm expression. Though her outfit and style looked casual, the mood of her words felt heavy.

    Fans aren’t sure if Min Ah was directing the message toward someone else or simply speaking to herself. The final line, “get it together,” sounds like a tough love reminder to herself—but also makes many wonder what she’s been going through recently.
