BTS’s Jimin just did it again—breaking his own records and proving that he’s a force to be reckoned with in the global music scene!
Jimin’s title track "Who" from his second album MUSE has officially hit 1.328 billion streams on Spotify, making it the MOST streamed K-pop solo song of all time! And get this—it only took him 176 days to achieve this incredible feat after its release on July 19 last year.
Before "Who" came along, Jimin's own debut solo track "Like Crazy" held the record for the most-streamed K-pop solo song on Spotify. But now, with "Who", Jimin has shattered that record, proving once again that he is the one to beat.
What’s even more mind-blowing? Jimin is the first and only Korean solo artist to have two songs surpass 1.3 billion streams on Spotify. As of January 15, "Who" is at 1.342 billion streams, while "Like Crazy" sits at 1.324 billion. And remember, these hits are all thanks to Jimin as a solo artist—no collaborations needed!
“Who” also made history by spending 159 days as the longest-charting song by a Korean artist on Spotify’s Global Daily Top Song Chart. Plus, it’s been the #1 song on Spotify’s Korean Daily Top Song Chart since its release!
And the records don’t stop there! On January 11, Jimin hit another huge milestone. In just 2 years and 9 months since creating his personal Spotify profile, he surpassed 6 billion streams across 34 songs. More than 4.8 billion of those streams come from his solo tracks, making him the FIRST K-pop solo artist to achieve such an epic milestone.
Jimin is proving once again why he’s a global music icon. His legacy is only getting bigger, and we can’t wait to see what he does next.
