• Hong Jin Kyung Got Into a Huge Fight With Her Daughter After Hiding BTS Jin's Visit – Here’s Why

An unbelievable story about Hong Jin Kyung hiding a visit from her daughter’s “favorite celebrity” has taken the internet by storm, and that celebrity was none other than BTS’s Jin!

On January 14th, a preview for the upcoming episode of the web variety show Run, Seokjin aired on the YouTube channel 'BangtanTV'.

Hong Jin Kyung appeared as a guest, and in the footage, Jin was seen cooking New Year's food with her in her kitchen. Dressed in a traditional hanbok, Jin joined in on conversations, games, and fun activities with Hong Jin Kyung.

But the real talk of the town is a story Hong Jin Kyung shared before on her YouTube channel. She revealed that when her daughter Rael’s favorite celebrity came to visit their home, she didn’t tell Rael, and it led to a huge fight.

During a gathering with the production crew, Hong Jin Kyung opened up, saying, “There was a big commotion yesterday. I had a huge fight with Rael. She was crying, yelling, and shouting.”

She went on to explain that she kept the visit a secret because she was worried Rael would overreact. She added, “That celebrity’s poster was in our house, and while signing it, he said, ‘Rael, your oppa came to visit. Please forgive your mom’”.

Rael, who found out about the surprise visit only after returning home, was heartbroken. Hong Jin Kyung recalled hearing a loud scream from upstairs and said, “Rael didn’t eat or come out until today”. She also commented, “He’s really cute”, referring to the celebrity.

This shocking story made netizens wonder if Rael’s favorite celebrity was BTS’s Jin. Fans flooded the comments with messages like, “After watching Run, Seokjin, I totally understand why Rael was upset,” “Came here after hearing about Seokjin,” “I can relate to Rael’s mom,” and “I feel bad for her too,” showing tons of empathy. Hong Jin Kyung even liked some of these comments.

Fans are clearly feeling for Rael, and we can’t blame them – who wouldn’t want to meet Jin?!

  • Seo Kang Joon’s ‘Undercover High School’ Takes Over—Becomes the Most Talked-About Drama in Just One Week

Seo Kang Joon is proving his star power as his new drama Undercover High School takes the top spot in buzz rankings.

On February 24, Good Data Corporation, a company that tracks online reactions to K-content, announced that MBC’s new Friday-Saturday drama Undercover High School ranked #1 in TV-OTT drama buzz for the third week of February.

Not only that, but lead actor Seo Kang Joon also topped the TV-OTT drama actor buzz rankings, showing just how much viewers are loving his performance.

The drama follows a National Intelligence Service (NIS) agent who goes undercover as a high school student to retrieve Emperor Gojong’s lost gold bars.

Seo Kang Joon plays the elite NIS agent Jung Hae Sung, who ditches his suit for a school uniform to complete his mission.

Despite tough competition from SBS’s Buried Hearts (ranked #2) and tvN’s My Dearest Nemesis (ranked #6), Undercover High School secured the top spot, largely thanks to Seo Kang Joon’s performance.

According to Good Data Corporation’s Won Soon Woo, “Based on netizens’ sentiment analysis, Seo Kang Joon was chosen as the actor who best suits his male lead role among the three new dramas. The positive response to his visuals and acting has directly boosted the drama’s popularity.”

Meanwhile, Netflix originals are also making waves, with The Trauma Code: Heroes on Call and Melo Movie ranking #3 and #4, while the highly anticipated When Life Gives You Tangerines entered the chart at #8 before its release.

Other school-themed dramas are also gaining attention, with Friendly Competition (U+ Mobile TV) and Study Group landing at #5 and #9, respectively.

MBC’s Undercover High School, starring Seo Kang Joon, airs every Friday and Saturday at 9:50 PM KST.
