• Nana and Chae Jongseok Spark Rumors with Steamy Kiss Scene — Now They Make Their First Public Appearance Together After Dating Buzz

Singer and actress Nana and model Chae Jongseok were spotted together for the first time at an event after their dating rumors surfaced, causing quite the stir!

On January 13, the pair made a joint appearance at a pop-up event for Dalba's Signature Ulthera Double Shot beauty brand at The Hyundai Seoul in Yeongdeungpo, Seoul. This marks their first public event together after reports linking them romantically.

Nana looked stunning in a white halter-neck dress, showcasing her doll-like beauty with a hint of allure. The dress highlighted her back and cleavage, turning heads as she stepped into the spotlight.

Chae Jongseok, who had been at the center of the dating rumors with Nana, joined her at the event. Sporting a sleek black outfit, he flaunted his model-worthy physique and sharp features, adding even more intrigue to their appearance together.

The buzz around their rumored relationship first started after Nana and Chae Jongseok appeared in Baek Ji Young’s music video for "Yeah, That's Right," released on December 2.

The video sparked attention due to a passionate kiss and intimate bed scene between the two, with behind-the-scenes clips showing them joking about the many takes of the kiss.

Chae Jongseok even humorously said they "did it so many times it’s hard to count." Fans noticed Nana's swollen lips during the scenes, adding even more fuel to the rumors.

Dating rumors surfaced on January 5, when Sports Kyunghyang reported that the two had been in a relationship for a while, even traveling together to Bali in June. However, both Nana and Chae Jongseok’s agencies refused to comment on the matter, calling it a private issue.

Nana, 33, is known for her work as a member of After School and as an actress in dramas like Mask Girl on Netflix. She also has upcoming roles in Humint and Omniscient Reader's Viewpoint.

Meanwhile, Chae Jongseok, 6 years her junior, debuted as a model in 2021 and has quickly made a name for himself in the fashion world.

  • ‘When the Stars Gossip’ Ends with Low Ratings—Lee Min Ho and Gong Hyo Jin’s Space Drama Fails to Take Off

SBS’s ambitious space romance drama When the Stars Gossip wrapped up its journey, but its ratings remained low until the very end.

According to Nielsen Korea on February 24, the final episode recorded a nationwide viewership rating of 2.5%.

While this was a slight rise from the previous episode’s 1.8%, the drama ultimately stayed in the 2% range. Its highest rating was 3.9%, achieved early in episode 2.

Despite featuring top stars like Lee Min Ho and Gong Hyo Jin and being Korea’s first-ever "space office drama", When the Stars Gossip struggled to capture a large audience.

The drama gained attention for its advanced filming techniques, using special equipment to mimic real zero-gravity movements and digital character synthesis to enhance the space-like visuals. However, even with these efforts, it failed to maintain strong ratings.

Many had high hopes for this space romance, but the slow pacing and mixed audience reactions led to an underwhelming performance.

Viewers were particularly divided over its emotional yet unexpected finale, leaving some satisfied while others felt disappointed.

With When the Stars Gossip now over, SBS is set to premiere its new drama The Potato Lab, starring Lee Sun Bin and Kang Tae Oh, airing every Saturday and Sunday at 9:20 PM KST.

Will this new series fare better? Stay tuned!
