• Song Ji Hyo Feels Regret Over Her Late Career Shift Into Perfume & Lingerie Business—'I Wish I Had Lived Like This Sooner!'

Song Ji Hyo opened up about her feelings of regret and how she wishes she had started her new business ventures sooner.

On the January 12 episode of Running Man (episode 744), the cast members had their New Year’s fortunes read, and Song Ji Hyo’s reading revealed some surprising insights.

The tarot expert told Song Ji Hyo that she has a "runaway mentality", always feeling the need to leave home even when she’s happy there. After a week, she starts craving change and a new environment.

The expert went on to say, "Inside you, there’s a bear, symbolizing a surge of energy and ambition. You're diving into your work with passion and realizing how much more you could have achieved if you'd lived this way earlier".

Hearing this, Song Ji Hyo couldn’t help but agree, clapping her hands in surprise, and said, “That’s right! I think about that a lot after hearing it”.

Her close friends, Kim Jong Kook and Ji Suk Jin, backed her up, noting how hard Song Ji Hyo is working right now and the dedication she’s putting into her new perfume and lingerie business.

The expert also warned Song Ji Hyo to be cautious of younger men in her life, a prediction that caught the attention of the Running Man members.

Meanwhile, HaHa also had his tarot reading, where the expert told him, “This year, you’ll be greatly influenced by your wife, and you’ll need to support her more in her activities”.

HaHa’s wife, singer Byeol, was said to have good fortune in the tarot cards. However, the reading wasn’t all positive, as the expert also advised HaHa not to start anything new this year, as it’s not the right time for him to dive into fresh projects. This made HaHa feel uneasy.

Yoo Jae Suk also had his fortune read, and the expert predicted that he would spend the year worrying about his Running Man members, especially HaHa and Ji Hyo. Yoo Jae Suk jokingly confessed, “I feel like I’m looking after my niece” in relation to Song Ji Hyo’s business endeavors.

Finally, the tarot expert looked ahead to 2025, forecasting that Running Man will see a lot of new faces, bringing diverse talent and creative energy to the show. The production team is expected to experiment with new ideas, promising an exciting year ahead.

Song Ji Hyo’s journey into business seems to be taking off, but as she reflects on her progress, it’s clear she’s eager to continue learning and growing in her new path.

  • Kim Soo Hyun prevention law heads to National Assembly after petition reaches 50,000 signatures

A petition pushing for stronger laws against sexual offenses involving minors, known as the "Kim Soo Hyun Prevention Law", has gained significant attention and is now on its way to the National Assembly.

The petition, titled “Proposal to raise the age for statutory rape of minors and strengthen punishment, also known as the 'Kim Soo Hyun Prevention Law'” was posted on March 31 on the National Petition page.

As of April 9, it has already gained over 54,000 signatures, surpassing the 50,000 signature requirement for it to be reviewed in the National Assembly.

The petition calls for the age limit for statutory rape of minors to be increased from the current age range of 13 to 16 years old to 13 to 19 years old, as well as for harsher punishments for offenders.

The push for this law comes after accusations that actor Kim Soo Hyun was involved with the late Kim Sae Ron, who was a minor at the time of their alleged relationship.

Due to the large number of signatures, the petition will now be reviewed by the National Assembly, where lawmakers will decide whether to bring it to a larger discussion.

Petitions that gather over 50,000 signatures within 30 days are transferred to the relevant committee, and the National Assembly has 90 days to decide if it will go to the plenary session.

Meanwhile, Kim Sae Ron’s family has made serious allegations, claiming that Kim Soo Hyun and his former agency, Gold Medalist, were involved in her tragic death.

They say Kim Soo Hyun had a relationship with her while she was still a minor and that she endured financial pressure due to debt from her former agency.

In response, Kim Soo Hyun held a press conference on March 31, where he tearfully denied the accusations and clarified his position.

Despite his emotional plea, public opinion has largely remained unchanged. Kim Soo Hyun also announced he would be filing a defamation lawsuit against Kim Sae Ron’s family and the YouTubers involved, seeking 12 billion won in damages.

The legal and social implications of the case continue to develop, with the National Assembly now preparing to address the petition and potential legal reforms.
