BTS member Jimin has proven once again just how powerful his global influence is!
On January 10th, Circle Chart named Jimin the "Most Loved K-Pop Artist in the World in 2024", a huge recognition that highlights his worldwide popularity.
A big part of this success comes from Jimin's second solo album, MUSE, and its hit title track "Who". The song topped the Circle Chart Year-End Global K-Pop chart after hitting number one an impressive 84 times on the daily chart in 2024, making it the most number-one song of the year!
The "Global K-Pop Chart" tracks K-pop streaming usage across the world, and Jimin’s tracks have made a huge impact.
In addition to "Who", his pre-release song "Smeraldo Garden Marching Band" also reached number one seven times on the daily chart. Altogether, Jimin’s songs hit the top spot 91 times in 2024, proving just how massive his global influence is.
On the Circle Chart Global K-Pop weekly chart, Jimin’s "Who" dominated, reaching number one a total of 12 times.
This set a new record for the most number-one spots by a single song in 2024. Between "Who" and "Smeraldo Garden Marching Band", Jimin earned a total of 13 number-one spots on the weekly chart, making him the artist with the most number ones in 2024.
Jimin also made waves on the Circle Chart 2024 annual "Global K-Pop Chart," where six of his songs made the list. His title track "Who", released on July 19, 2023, ranked 4th, marking it as the highest-ranked solo song of 2024 despite the short tracking period.
But Jimin’s success doesn’t stop there! His title track from his first solo album, FACE, "Like Crazy," which ranked 10th on the 2023 annual chart, held strong at 23rd on the 2024 chart.
Other tracks like "Closer Than This" at 55th, "Smeraldo Garden Marching Band" at 80th, "Set Me Free Part 2" at 144th, and "Be Mine" at 149th also made their mark, keeping Jimin’s music in the spotlight all year long.
Jimin’s powerful presence on the global K-pop scene continues to grow, and this recognition proves he is one of the most influential stars in the world!
