• Song Hye Kyo’s YouTube Debut Moves Fans and Staff: "I’m Sorry I Can Only Offer Money" – Cha Eun Woo Makes Surprise Appearance

Actress Song Hye Kyo has officially joined the world of vlogging!

On January 10, a video titled "Not Me, but Song Hye Kyo's Vlog..." was uploaded to Davichi’s Kang Min Kyung’s YouTube channel, 'Gyungmingkyung', giving fans a glimpse into the actress's life.

In the beginning of the video, Kang Min Kyung explained that she was editing and sharing Song Hye Kyo’s vlog, which had been filmed by the actress herself. She revealed that the vlog project was created to support Song Hye Kyo’s upcoming movie The Black Nun.

The vlog starts with Song Hye Kyo attending a jewelry event overseas, where she appeared with no makeup, explaining, “Today is the day of the jewelry event. I’m washing up and waiting for the hair and makeup staff.” Later, she appeared at the event in a stunning outfit and warmly greeted fans abroad.

Despite her glamorous appearance, Song Hye Kyo revealed how exhausted she was from her packed schedule. During the event, she casually turned the camera to show fellow actor Cha Eun Woo, who was also there, and he shared his support, saying, “I’ll support The Black Nun.”

Back in Korea, Song Hye Kyo celebrated her birthday with her agency’s CEO, who shares a similar birthday. When Kang Min Kyung jokingly asked, "Have you spent over 20 birthdays together?" Song Hye Kyo responded with a laugh, saying, "So it’s getting boring now."

But the real emotional moments came when Song Hye Kyo’s staff shared how deeply touched they were by her kindness. Her agency’s CEO recalled a time when Song Hye Kyo supported him during a tough time. He remembered, "I told Song Hye Kyo about the situation, and she just said, 'I understand.' Later, she left me a note saying, ‘Hang in there, unnie,’ with champagne waiting for me. She was in her 20s, and she handled the situation like a seasoned pro."

Song Hye Kyo’s stylist of 20 years also opened up about a heartfelt moment. She recalled a time when her mother became very ill, and Song Hye Kyo, unaware of the situation, still managed to surprise her with a large amount of money. The stylist shared, “I’m so sorry that the only thing I can offer you right now is money. I feel bad that I couldn’t be there for you when you were struggling, and all I can do is give you money. I’m really sorry for that.” This heartfelt gesture left the stylist in tears.

Song Hye Kyo’s kindness and generosity continue to shine through, showing that she's not only a star on screen but also a shining example of compassion in real life.

  • Han Ji Min and Lee Jun Hyuk’s Drama 'Love Scout' Sparks Controversy, Director’s Past Assault and Defamation Case Resurfaces

The upcoming SBS drama Love Scout, starring Han Ji Min and Lee Jun Hyuk, is already making headlines—but for all the wrong reasons.

Recent revelations about the show’s co-director, Ham Joon Ho, have sparked controversy. It was revealed that Ham Joon Ho had faced legal issues in 2020 for assault and defamation while intoxicated.

This incident led to disciplinary action within SBS and has raised questions about his involvement in the new project.

On January 13, the production team of Love Scout released an official apology, saying, "We deeply regret causing concern with unpleasant news related to PD Ham Joon Ho."

They confirmed the allegations, stating, "It is true that PD Ham Joon Ho was accused of assault and defamation while intoxicated in early 2020. However, he sincerely apologized to all victims, and the matter was resolved through forgiveness and mutual agreement."

They added, "He also received legal punishment for the incident. Additionally, reports about his prior criminal record from five years ago are unrelated to this case, as they involve a misdemeanor."

The team explained that Ham Joon Ho was suspended from his duties following the incident and spent three years reflecting on his actions before returning to directing. They added, "We kindly ask for viewers’ understanding."

The controversy began after online posts brought up the 2020 incident, sharing a news article from that time. The article described an SBS drama department employee, referred to as “A,” causing a disturbance in Hannam-dong, Seoul, while intoxicated. Police booked “A,” and due to their prior criminal record, an arrest warrant was requested but later denied.

It was later confirmed that “A” was PD Ham Joon Ho. After serving his suspension, he made his directorial comeback with the SBS drama Payback before taking on Love Scout.

Despite the production team's apology, the controversy has cast a shadow over the highly anticipated drama, leaving viewers wondering how it will impact the show’s reception.
