Actress Im Soo Hyang stole the spotlight at the 2024 KBS Drama Awards when she was caught in a surprising three-shot with both her current partner Ji Hyun Woo and her ex-partner Kim Jung Hyun!

The exciting event, which was pre-recorded and aired on January 11th, took place on December 31st at KBS Hall in Yeouido, Seoul.

Hosted by Jang Sung Kyu, Girls' Generation’s Seohyun, and Moon Sang Min, the night was filled with thrilling moments and plenty of drama.

Im Soo Hyang took home the Best Couple Award with Ji Hyun Woo for their roles in Beauty and Mr. Romantic.

But things got extra interesting when Kim Jung Hyun, her co-star from Kokdu: Season of Deity (2023), appeared on stage as well, winning the Best Couple Award with Geum Sae Rok for Iron Family.

This created a surprising moment when Im Soo Hyang found herself standing between her current and ex-partners, leaving the audience buzzing.

Host Jang Sung Kyu didn’t miss the chance to have some fun, asking Im Soo Hyang, "You’ve met both your ex and current partners. While filming, who made you feel more excited?"

Im Soo Hyang, clearly flustered, joked, "The work environment was so great, so I always approached it with excitement. That’s why my heart isn’t too healthy," leaving everyone in laughter.

It’s official—Good Partner is getting a second season!

On April 3, 2025, SBS confirmed the exciting news that Good Partner will return for Season 2.

However, fans will have to wait a little longer for more details as the production is still in its early stages.

SBS revealed, “While the production for Season 2 has been confirmed, the broadcast schedule, filming dates, and cast have not been finalized. We are still in discussions.”

Good Partner originally aired last September, and it quickly became a fan favorite. The drama follows Cha Eun Kyung (played by Jang Na Ra), a seasoned divorce lawyer, and rookie lawyer Han Yoo Ri (played by Nam Ji Hyun), who is new to handling divorce cases.

The series was a hit, with a peak viewership rating of 17.7% (Nielsen Korea, nationwide households).

Both Jang Na Ra and Nam Ji Hyun were praised for their performances, with Jang Na Ra receiving her first acting award after 23 years in the industry at the 2024 SBS Drama Awards, and Nam Ji Hyun taking home the Best Acting Award.
