The episode’s heartwarming scenes led the drama to reach an impressive 10.5% nationwide ratings and a peak of 13.1%, solidifying its spot as the top-rated Friday-Saturday drama.

In the third episode, Ji Yoon (played by Han Ji Min) and Eun Ho (played by Lee Jun Hyuk) showed a clear shift in their relationship from adversaries to a blossoming romance. The chemistry between them was undeniable, and viewers couldn’t get enough of their playful and tender moments. The episode also topped the 2049 target audience rating at 2.8% (Nielsen Korea), making it the most-watched show in its time slot!

One of the standout scenes showed Ji Yoon narrowly avoiding a fall, thanks to Eun Ho’s quick support, before heading to her favorite street food stall. With determination, she boldly ordered the "Dizzying Flavor" level-5 spicy tteokbokki, setting the stage for an unforgettable eating challenge. Eun Ho, who couldn't handle spicy food, took a bite and hilariously struggled, making Ji Yoon laugh for the first time. This moment marked the start of her softening feelings toward him.

As their relationship developed, Ji Yoon began noticing Eun Ho's sweet gestures, like buying pizza for overtime workers and creating a relaxing atmosphere with lavender scents. These little actions gradually melted her previous coldness toward him. Meanwhile, Eun Ho, who initially didn’t understand the headhunting world, started to appreciate the job more, especially after successfully helping Ji Yoon scout chef Jung Won for a top position at Ganeil Hotel.

However, a rumor about an inappropriate relationship between Jung Won and his sous-chef, Hye In (played by Park Yoo Rim), caused a major hiccup in the process. The couple worked together to uncover the truth behind the gossip, revealing that Hye In had been supporting Jung Won during his wrist surgery, a secret she kept to protect his career.

With this misunderstanding cleared up, Ji Yoon and Eun Ho successfully placed Jung Won as the head chef and helped Hye In find a new role suited to her talents as a food product developer. This moment highlighted Ji Yoon’s compassionate side, leaving Eun Ho in awe of her soft-heartedness.

As the rain started to pour, the romantic moment everyone was waiting for arrived. Eun Ho pulled out a pink umbrella featuring the popular children’s character Pinkfong, leading to a cute, funny moment as they shared the umbrella. The scene ended with the two of them getting closer under the umbrella, leaving viewers with a heartwarming sense of romance and humor!

With this episode’s massive success, fans can’t wait to see what’s next for Ji Yoon and Eun Ho as their relationship continues to bloom. "My Perfect Secretary" is clearly on the path to becoming a major hit.

  • Kim Soo Hyun prevention law heads to National Assembly after petition reaches 50,000 signatures

A petition pushing for stronger laws against sexual offenses involving minors, known as the "Kim Soo Hyun Prevention Law", has gained significant attention and is now on its way to the National Assembly.

The petition, titled “Proposal to raise the age for statutory rape of minors and strengthen punishment, also known as the 'Kim Soo Hyun Prevention Law'” was posted on March 31 on the National Petition page.

As of April 9, it has already gained over 54,000 signatures, surpassing the 50,000 signature requirement for it to be reviewed in the National Assembly.

The petition calls for the age limit for statutory rape of minors to be increased from the current age range of 13 to 16 years old to 13 to 19 years old, as well as for harsher punishments for offenders.

The push for this law comes after accusations that actor Kim Soo Hyun was involved with the late Kim Sae Ron, who was a minor at the time of their alleged relationship.

Due to the large number of signatures, the petition will now be reviewed by the National Assembly, where lawmakers will decide whether to bring it to a larger discussion.

Petitions that gather over 50,000 signatures within 30 days are transferred to the relevant committee, and the National Assembly has 90 days to decide if it will go to the plenary session.

Meanwhile, Kim Sae Ron’s family has made serious allegations, claiming that Kim Soo Hyun and his former agency, Gold Medalist, were involved in her tragic death.

They say Kim Soo Hyun had a relationship with her while she was still a minor and that she endured financial pressure due to debt from her former agency.

In response, Kim Soo Hyun held a press conference on March 31, where he tearfully denied the accusations and clarified his position.

Despite his emotional plea, public opinion has largely remained unchanged. Kim Soo Hyun also announced he would be filing a defamation lawsuit against Kim Sae Ron’s family and the YouTubers involved, seeking 12 billion won in damages.

The legal and social implications of the case continue to develop, with the National Assembly now preparing to address the petition and potential legal reforms.
