• BTS’s Jungkook Breaks Records Again, ‘Seven’ Re-Enters Billboard Chart and Hits 77 Weeks as an Asian Soloist

BTS's Jungkook continues to prove his global superstar status, breaking new records and leaving fans in awe.

On the latest Billboard chart (dated January 11), Jungkook’s smash hit "Seven" made a strong comeback, re-entering the Global 200 chart at #97. This milestone extends its reign to 77 weeks—the longest run ever by an Asian soloist!

But that’s not all. On the Global Excl. U.S. chart, "Seven" climbed to #61, making it 77 consecutive weeks on the chart. No other Asian solo artist has achieved such an incredible streak, solidifying Jungkook’s place as a true global phenomenon.

The Billboard global charts, which track streaming and sales data from over 200 countries, show just how much love "Seven" continues to receive worldwide. It remains the first and only song by an Asian soloist to stay on both the Global 200 and Global Excl. U.S. charts for over 76 weeks.

Jungkook's achievements don’t stop there. "Seven" is also holding strong in Asia, ranking #87 on Billboard Japan's Streaming Songs chart for 77 weeks and maintaining its presence on the Philippines' Hot 100 at #52 for 28 weeks—making it the longest-charting K-pop track in the region.

Meanwhile, his debut solo album GOLDEN is still making waves, securing #73 on Billboard Japan’s Download Albums chart for its 48th week. Jungkook also ranked #64 on Billboard Japan’s Artist 100 chart, marking an impressive 84 weeks as one of the top artists.

Despite his military service, Jungkook’s music continues to dominate the charts. GOLDEN even made a surprise comeback on the Billboard 200 late last year, hitting #109 on the December 28 edition. With this, Jungkook extended his record as the K-pop soloist with the longest cumulative presence on the chart, now at 25 weeks.

In the U.S., GOLDEN also holds the title of the best-selling K-pop solo album for two years in a row. To top it all off, Jungkook made history at the Billboard Music Awards by winning three trophies over the past two years, making him the most awarded K-pop soloist in BBMA history.

Fans around the world are celebrating Jungkook’s unstoppable journey as he continues to make K-pop history with every move.

  • Park Bo Gum Takes on a Big Challenge as MC of ‘Cantabile’ — Here's Why KBS Chose an Actor Over a Singer

KBS is getting ready to shake up its 2025 spring variety lineup, and one of the most talked-about shows is Park Bo Gum’s Cantabile!

On March 7, KBS held a press conference at the KBS International Conference Room in Yeouido, Seoul, to introduce its upcoming variety programs. Several CPs (chief producers) attended the event, including Park Seok-hyung, who is directing Park Bo Gum’s Cantabile.

During the event, CP Park Seok-hyung explained why Park Bo Gum was chosen as the host. "Having Park Bo Gum as the MC was a bit of a challenge for us. Respect is crucial in a music talk show, and we felt that Park Bo Gum, with his deep love for music, would be able to communicate well with musicians."

Ballunteer will feature former soccer star Lee Young-pyo and singer Lee Chan-won as they take on hilarious futsal challenges.

Actress Lee Min-jung will host Going and Coming Lee Min-jung, a wholesome rural reality show where she sells goods with other actors.

Meanwhile, KBS’s legendary comedy show Gag Concert is officially returning on March 16, moving to prime time on Sundays at 9:20 PM KST.

Here’s when you can catch these exciting new and returning shows:
