On January 9, the 2024 Melon Comprehensive Annual Chart was released, and RIIZE's achievements had fans celebrating. Their hit tracks "Love 119," "Get A Guitar," and "Boom Boom Bass" secured impressive spots at 25th, 45th, and 99th, respectively, solidifying their place as one of the top groups in the music scene.
The success of "Get A Guitar" stands out, as it has stayed on Melon’s monthly charts for an impressive 15 months in a row since its release in September 2023. The track continues to earn love from listeners, proving its lasting popularity.
Meanwhile, "Love 119," which was released in January 2024, has also made waves, holding strong on the monthly charts for 12 months straight. The song is currently experiencing a resurgence in popularity as it gets extra attention during the winter season, showing just how much listeners adore it.
Additionally, the title track of their first mini-album, "Boom Boom Bass," which came out in June 2024, has also secured its place on the Melon Annual Chart, making it clear that RIIZE is continuing to dominate and proving themselves as the "next-generation powerhouse."
To top it off, RIIZE has been keeping busy with exciting projects. On January 8, the group released a remake of TVXQ’s classic hit “Hug,” and the response has been overwhelmingly positive! Fans are eagerly looking forward to seeing them perform this remake live at the upcoming "SMTOWN LIVE 2025" event on January 11-12, as well as on Mnet’s M Countdown on January 16.
