• "Heart Signal 4" Shin Min Gyu Reveals Breakup with Yu Yi Soo and Shocking Stalking Experience: "They Even Target My Family"

Shin Min Gyu, one of the standout participants from Heart Signal 4, has opened up about his breakup with Yu Yi Soo and the alarming stalking incidents he's been facing.

On January 9, a video titled "Min Gyu, how honest are you planning to be today?" was uploaded to the YouTube channel "kiu기우쌤," where Shin Min Gyu spoke candidly about his experiences.

In the video, Shin Min Gyu confirmed his split with Yu Yi Soo, saying, “I thought it’d be better to address it at some point.” He explained, “Since it was a public relationship, there was always a chance of breaking up. But it felt strange to publicly announce, ‘We broke up.’”

The two became a fan-favorite couple during Heart Signal 4, which aired on Channel A and ended in August 2023. Fans had speculated about their breakup late last year when the pair unfollowed each other on social media and removed couple photos, but no statements were made until now.

What shocked fans even more was Shin Min Gyu’s revelation about being stalked. “I’m not a celebrity, just a regular person, but there are people digging into my private life. It’s worse than I expected,” he shared.

Shin Min Gyu revealed that the stalking wasn’t limited to him—it affected his family and friends. He said, “People send direct messages to my younger sister, saying things like, ‘Tell your brother to behave’ or ‘Your brother seems like a cheater.’ Some messages were harsh and hurtful. My sister kept it from me for a long time because she was worried about me.”

He also expressed frustration about people tracking his personal life. “Even when I meet a female friend outside, people somehow find out, even though I don’t post anything on Instagram. They send messages detailing my actions to my sister. It’s unsettling, and it makes me feel bad for my friends who get dragged into this.”

Despite the challenges, Shin Min Gyu tried to stay composed, saying, “Honestly, these things don’t bother me much personally, but it’s upsetting when it affects the people around me.”

The former couple’s public relationship brought them both joy and challenges, but Shin Min Gyu’s openness has left fans supporting him during this difficult time.
