• BTS’s Jimin’s ‘Who’ Makes Huge Comeback on Billboard ‘Hot 100,’ Shattering Records - Here's How He Did It

BTS's Jimin continues to dominate the charts with his hit song "Who," as it re-enters the Billboard "Hot 100" at No. 24, marking an incredible 23 weeks on the chart. This long-running success cements Jimin's place in history!

According to the latest Billboard rankings released on January 11, Jimin's "Who" made a return to the Hot 100 at No. 24, bringing his total weeks on the chart to 23. This is a new milestone for K-pop, as "Who" now holds the record for the highest rank for a K-pop song after 23 weeks on the Hot 100.

What's even more impressive? "Who" has now become the longest-charting solo song by a Korean artist on the Hot 100, surpassing Psy’s iconic "Gangnam Style." Jimin’s track now holds the fourth spot for the longest-charting K-pop songs, following BTS’s "Dynamite" (32 weeks), "Gangnam Style" (31 weeks), and FIFTY FIFTY’s "Cupid" (25 weeks).

Thanks to "Who"’s massive success, Jimin also made his way back onto the Billboard Artist 100 chart at No. 86, marking a total of 32 weeks on the chart. He is the first and only K-pop solo artist to hit No. 1 on the Artist 100 chart.

But that’s not all! On the Billboard 200, Jimin’s second album MUSE (which features "Who") climbed 36 spots to No. 106, marking its 24th consecutive week on the chart. MUSE is the only K-pop album in 2024 to have spent 24 weeks on this chart.

Jimin also made waves on Billboard’s other charts. After dominating the Global 200 and Global (Excluding U.S.) charts for two weeks at No. 1, "Who" re-entered the top 10 at No. 10 and No. 9, proving his power as a solo artist without relying on collaborations.

On the Streaming Songs chart, "Who" climbed 36 spots to No. 13, reaching its highest position yet and extending its record to 24 weeks on the chart. This makes it the second-longest-charting K-pop song, following "Gangnam Style."

Lastly, on the World Albums chart, Jimin’s MUSE secured the No. 2 spot, marking its 24th week on the chart. With this, MUSE now stands as the second-longest-charting K-pop solo album, right behind Jimin’s debut album FACE, which spent an impressive 63 weeks on the chart.

Jimin’s incredible success continues to prove that his global popularity is stronger than ever.
