• Lee Jun Hyuk Drops SHOCKING Truth About His 80kg Weight Gain: "Ma Dong Seok Told Me to Gain 5kg, and I Ended Up Gaining 20kg"

Actor Lee Jun Hyuk recently revealed the surprising reason behind his dramatic weight gain while filming The Outlaws 3!

On January 7, Lee Jun Hyuk and My Perfect Secretary actress Han Ji Min appeared on SBS's variety show Tteummanna-myeon. During the episode, Han Ji Min shared a funny regret about not being able to share many meals with Lee Jun Hyuk while filming their drama.

Lee Jun Hyuk joked, "Today we're eating," and added, "Even though I’m eating today, I might not gain weight, but I could get a stomachache. There’s no reason to be this nervous. Honestly, just looking at Yoo Jae Suk hyung makes me nervous." His nervousness on variety shows had everyone laughing.

Yoo Yeon Seok then commented, "(Lee Jun Hyuk) really likes to eat," with Han Ji Min revealing, "He says he can eat two or three pizzas." Lee Jun Hyuk also admitted, "That’s true. If I let my mouth loose, I could eat six bags of snacks at once. But I hold back now, because I know I’ll gain weight soon."

The actor shared a story about filming The Outlaws 3, saying, "Ma Dong Seok told me to gain 5kg, so I gained 5kg by the next day. Then he asked, 'Do you want to gain 5kg more?' That's how I ended up gaining 20kg!" Lee Jun Hyuk explained that when he weighed over 80kg, he felt stronger and less embarrassed. "I don't know why, but it seems like my hormones change," he added.

In another part of the show, Yoo Yeon Seok asked Lee Jun Hyuk how he became an actor. Lee Jun Hyuk revealed, "I didn't major in directing. I studied directing in college, but while shooting independent films, I realized I didn’t know how to guide the actors. So, I started learning acting by accident."

It’s clear that Lee Jun Hyuk’s journey to acting is just as surprising as his weight gain! Fans can’t wait to see what he does next.

  • BBGIRLS on Yujeong's Departure: "We're Not Surprised"

Girl group BBGIRLS mentioned their former member Yujeong's departure.

BBGIRLS (Minyoung, Eunji, Yuna) recently held a roundtable interview at a café in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam, Seoul, to commemorate the release of their second single LOVE 2.

Last April, BBGIRLS parted ways with Warner Music Korea and established a new agency, BBGIRLS Company, before reorganizing into a three-member group.

This was when Yujeong announced her departure. Although the exact reasons for her departure were not disclosed, BBGIRLS' side expressed, "We decided to respect Yujeong's decision. We sincerely thank Yujeong for her dedicated efforts as a BBGIRLS member for a long time, and we will continue to support her without change."

Regarding this, Minyoung shared, "I wondered, 'Can I speak honestly, just as it is?' We were careful about how to communicate because we no longer have the previous member. We debuted late and started our activities, and being in our 30s, we also had many thoughts about life, especially after 'Rollin'. Ultimately, the opinion of the former member was the most important, so we decided to respect that after many discussions, which led to the final three of us remaining. Not everything goes the way we want. I’m sure the other members and that friend also feel the same. Of course, it’s disappointing, but we chose to respect her decision and finish things on a positive note, supporting her, and prepared for this album."

Minyoung also recalled the moment Yujeong expressed her intention to leave. "I wasn’t surprised," Minyoung said. "We had shared many things before, so we kind of felt it coming. As a leader, I was most upset because I wished she would’ve stayed with us a bit longer. It wasn’t so much a surprise as it was upsetting. I had the most conversations with the former member, and while it was regretful as a team, as a person, I had no choice but to understand. But I did express my disappointment and hurt feelings."

BBGIRLS' second single LOVE 2 will be released on the afternoon of the 15th through various online music platforms.
