Song Joong Ki has touched hearts with his kind actions on set!
On January 7th, the popular web variety show Salon Drip 2 aired, featuring actor Song Joong Ki alongside Lee Hee Jun.
During the episode, Lee Hee Jun shared a heartwarming story about his co-star from the film Bogotá: The Last Chance, revealing that Song Joong Ki is always looking out for others, especially the younger staff.
"He takes care of many people," Lee Hee Jun said. "Even though he's busy with his own work, he makes sure to check in on the staff and always plans company dinners to keep everyone united."
Song Joong Ki himself confirmed this, explaining that when he senses the staff is getting tired, he starts thinking about ways to lift their spirits, including planning company dinners. "If I see the atmosphere getting heavy, I think, 'Should we have a company dinner to unite?'" he shared.
But it didn't stop there—Song Joong Ki's generosity extended all the way to Colombia, where the crew was shooting Bogotá: The Last Chance.
Despite the challenges of filming in a foreign country, Song Joong Ki gathered the local staff, and the actors pitched in to buy iPads, iPhones, and other prizes for a raffle.
This touching gesture is just one of the many reasons why fans continue to admire Song Joong Ki, who not only focuses on his acting but also ensures that everyone around him feels valued.
Bogotá: The Last Chance is a gripping film set after the IMF crisis, where Song Joong Ki’s character Guk Hee heads to Colombia with new hope, becoming entangled with the local Korean community's influential figures.
