BTS member Jungkook has made history by winning a record-breaking sixth trophy at China's prestigious Year-End Awards, cementing his position as a global music icon!

At the 2024 China Year-End Awards, Jungkook bagged the Best Selling English Male Single award with his self-composed track "Never Let Go", which dropped in June.

The song has already sold over 80,000 copies in China, an incredible feat, especially considering it was an English fan song without major promotional efforts.

Despite being in the military this year, Jungkook’s dominance continues! His win marks his sixth trophy at this awards show, surpassing global pop sensation Justin Bieber.

With this victory, he now holds the title for the most wins by a male solo artist at the China Year-End Awards!

Last year, Jungkook also collected five awards, including Best Selling Solo K-Pop Album for his solo debut “Golden”, and several awards for his hit single “Seven”, proving his unmatched success in the global music scene.

But that’s not all! “Never Let Go” was a huge digital hit, topping QQ Music’s daily and weekly sales charts in China and earning a Gold certification.

The song also surpassed 170 million streams on Spotify, and made waves worldwide by hitting number one on iTunes' Top Songs chart in 102 countries just three days after release.

BTS's Jimin has once again proven his global impact with another incredible achievement on Spotify!

The title track "Who" from Jimin's second solo album, MUSE, hit 1.3 billion streams on Spotify as of January 7. What makes this milestone even more special is that it only took 171 days since its release to reach this number, setting a new record for an Asian artist.

Jimin’s accomplishment also broke a global record for male solo artists, previously held by Harry Styles’ "As It Was," which took 173 days to hit 1.3 billion streams—Jimin beat it by two days! On Spotify’s all-time list, "Who" is now the fourth-fastest song to achieve this feat, following tracks by Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars, Billie Eilish, and Sabrina Carpenter.

This isn’t the first time Jimin has achieved such a massive milestone. Back in October 2023, his song "Like Crazy," the title track of his debut solo album FACE, also reached 1.3 billion streams. With "Who" and "Like Crazy, Jimin has become the only Korean solo artist to have two songs surpass 1.3 billion streams on Spotify—a truly groundbreaking achievement!

Fans are even more amazed because "Who" achieved global success without big promotional campaigns or collaborations with Western artists. Jimin’s artistry is shining purely on its own.

In addition to the title track, other songs from MUSE are also gaining massive attention. For example, Interlude: Showtime recently hit 50 million streams, meaning every track from the album has now surpassed 50 million streams.

The MUSE album itself continues to break records, becoming the fastest Korean solo album on Spotify to hit 2.2 billion streams in just 171 days. It’s now the second most-streamed Korean solo album on the platform, following Jimin’s debut album FACE, which has an impressive 2.5 billion streams.
