From November 18 to December 11, Forbes Korea teamed up with Idolchamp to hold a massive poll for the "Best K-pop Idol of the Second Half of 2024".

Competing against other top idols, Jin came out on top in the male idol category, securing an impressive 44.52% of the total votes—an astounding 144,678 votes in the final round!

Jin’s road to victory started strong, as he advanced to the finals by earning 20.22% of votes in the preliminary round with 30,247 votes. His win also comes with a special trophy, solidifying his place as one of K-pop’s brightest stars.

Since completing his military service on June 12, 2024, Jin has been unstoppable. One of his standout moments was when he served as a torchbearer for the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics.

On France’s National Day, Bastille Day, Jin led the torch relay at the iconic Louvre Museum—a historic honor for any foreigner. His participation lit up global search trends and sparked excitement around the world.
