J.Y. Park, the founder of JYP Entertainment, made 2PM’s Jun. K’s 20th anniversary with the company unforgettable by surprising him with a plane ticket to Switzerland.
On December 27, 2PM’s official YouTube channel shared a heartwarming video titled “UN. K’s Swiss Travel Episode 1 | ※JYP Artists Must Watch※ What Happens When You Stay Long-Term”.
The video starts with Jun. K busy practicing for an upcoming concert when J.Y. Park unexpectedly shows up at the practice room. After greeting the 2PM members, J.Y. Park pulled Jun. K aside for a special moment.
Jun. K, noticing the camera crew, teased, “I see the camera is here, so this must be for content. What’s going on? This is so sudden.”
J.Y. Park congratulated him, saying, “We celebrate employees who reach their 20th anniversary with the company. I’ve always wanted to do something special for you but never had the chance until now.”
When asked what he had always dreamed of doing, Jun. K admitted, “I haven’t traveled much. My fans all know I’ve always wanted to visit Switzerland.”
With a playful grin, J.Y. Park first handed him a ticket to the “Gapyeong Swiss Theme Park”, joking, “It’s a perfect replica of Switzerland. Isn’t this enough for a 20th anniversary?”
But moments later, he revealed the real surprise – an actual plane ticket to Switzerland. J.Y. Park said, “Go to the theme park first and then head to the real Switzerland. I’ve arranged everything to fit your schedule.”
He added, “Twenty years is such a rare and incredible milestone. Even couples struggle to stay together this long. For you to have been with me and JYP for two decades is truly precious. I’m deeply thankful.”
Jun. K, touched by the gesture, replied, “Thank you for keeping us here with you. This means so much.”
As he returned to his practice, Jun. K shared his excitement with fans, saying, “If you stay with JYP for 20 years, you can even go to Switzerland!”
Fans couldn’t stop praising J.Y. Park’s thoughtfulness and Jun. K’s dedication. The video left many feeling emotional, celebrating the bond between Jun. K and the company that helped him shine for 20 years.
