• Onew Shares Heartfelt Thoughts on Key, Reveals Why He’s Glad He’s the Older One in SHINee

Onew from SHINee opened up about his close friendship with Key during his appearance on Amazing Saturday.

On the December 28th episode of tvN’s Amazing Saturday, Onew joined the cast as a guest and shared some touching thoughts about his fellow SHINee member.

The host, Boom, jokingly asked Onew, “You often think it’s a good thing that you’re the older one instead of Key, right?” Nucksal added, “I think everyone thinks that.”

Onew responded honestly, saying, “I’ve thought that a lot. I thought that if I weren’t in SHINee, I wouldn’t have been able to get close to him. He’s a friend who excels in every way.”

Key, always the playful one, quickly jumped in with a smile, saying, “I always say to Onew, ‘I’m glad I’m the younger one! If I were the older one, it would be too overwhelming!’”

Onew didn’t hold back in praising Key, calling him “the kind of friend who takes care of me in a really tsundere-like way”—showing how much he values their bond.

Meanwhile, Amazing Saturday is a fun music variety show where the cast enjoys a song lyric guessing game while exploring delicious food from all over the country.

  • JK Kim Dong Wook Opens Up About Artists Being Forced to Post for Sympathy Over Jeju Air Tragedy: "Forcing Sadness Is Not Right"

On January 1, singer JK Kim Dong Wook shared a powerful message, expressing his thoughts on the pressure artists face to post on social media during tragic events like the Jeju Air plane crash. In a heartfelt post, he explained, "Forcing sadness, no matter the reason, is never right."

He pointed out that just because someone doesn't share a photo on social media or write a public post, it doesn't mean they aren't deeply affected or mourning. "Not posting doesn't mean you're not sad," he shared.

Looking ahead to the new year, JK Kim Dong Wook encouraged his followers to cherish both the joyful and sorrowful moments in life. "We must live another year, laughing and crying with our loved ones, experiencing both joy and sadness together," he said.

He went on to remind everyone that this year should be one where people make thoughtful decisions and contribute to making the world better.

"Let’s make this year one where we can judge what is right and wrong with reason," he added. "I’m also writing songs with that mindset. Let's live with the belief that, by being ourselves, we can create a better world."

His message serves as a reminder to respect each individual's way of grieving, while also striving for a positive and thoughtful year ahead.
