DAY6 has just been awarded Album of the Year at the AAA 2024, and they're sending their heartfelt thanks to everyone who has supported them through thick and thin!

On December 27, the 9th edition of the Asia Artist Awards (AAA 2024) took place at the IMPACT Challenger Hall 1-2 in Bangkok, Thailand, with Ryu Jun Yeol, Jang Wonyoung, and Sung Hanbin hosting the exciting event.

DAY6 took home the prestigious Album of the Year award at AAA 2024, and the band couldn't be more grateful.

During their acceptance speech, they shared, "We didn’t expect to receive such a big award, so thank you for this honor. We've been a team for nearly 10 years, and it hasn't always been easy. Despite everything, we could persevere thanks to Team DAY6, our families, friends, members, and last but not least, MyDay (DAY6's fan club)."

They also expressed their joy, saying, "This has been the best year for us. We will continue to stay true to our original intent and work hard to make music as DAY6."

The AAA 2024 was a huge event, gathering the biggest stars of the year in one place. In the singer category, top artists like NewJeans, LE SSERAFIM, BIBI, and NCT 127 delivered electrifying performances that had fans buzzing.

Meanwhile, in the actor category, stars like Kim Soo Hyun, Park Min Young, and Byeon Woo Seok also joined the celebration, making the night unforgettable for fans in Bangkok and around the world.

The AAA 2024 was broadcast live on MTN in Korea and streamed globally through Weverse. It was also available on platforms like Astro, Blast TV, FPT, J:COM, and U-NEXT for fans to enjoy from anywhere!

BLACKPINK’s Jisoo shared a surprising story from her trainee days!

On January 29, the latest episode of Dex’s Fridge Interview was released on YouTube. During the chat, Dex asked Jisoo if she ever rebelled or broke the rules as a trainee. She confidently replied, “Not at all. The only rebellion I had as a trainee was eating.”

Dex then jokingly imitated her younger self, saying, “I’m perfect, so why are they telling me not to eat? I’m going to eat tteokbokki!”

Jisoo laughed and admitted, “Actually, I was really chubby back then. They kept telling me to lose weight, but I always said, ‘No, I need to eat. I like myself chubby.’”

She even recalled a moment with YG Entertainment’s founder, Yang Hyun Suk:
“The boss told me to lose weight, and I responded like that. He just walked away, thinking, ‘She’s a weird one.’ I literally said, ‘No! I like myself chubby!’”

Jisoo then revealed that after she debuted, she naturally lost weight. She added, “Later, after I debuted and naturally lost weight, he was like, ‘You didn’t lose weight when I told you to, but now that you debuted, you did.’”
