BTS's V has teamed up with legendary singer Bing Crosby for a stunning new version of "White Christmas," and fans all over the world are falling in love with the magical duet. The track has become a huge hit on global charts, and even international media can’t stop talking about it!

On December 20, the American magazine Forbes praised V’s star power with an article titled, “Bing Crosby Hits the Top 10 on Multiple Charts Thanks to One of K-Pop’s Biggest Stars, V.” Forbes highlighted how V helped turn the revamped holiday classic into one of the season’s most talked-about songs.

The duet, featured in V’s album Winter Ahead, was released on November 29 and quickly climbed the charts, even making it onto Billboard’s Hot 100. What makes this achievement even more amazing is that it was done without any official promotions in the U.S.

"White Christmas" reached #1 on both the Digital Song Sales and Holiday Digital Song Sales charts on Billboard. This also made V the first K-pop artist to score two consecutive #1 hits on the Holiday Digital Song Sales chart, showing his massive digital impact.

Over in the UK, V made waves too. His song Winter Ahead debuted at #1 on the UK Official Singles Sales and Singles Download charts, while "White Christmas" followed closely at #2.

Critics and fans alike are praising the blend of V’s smooth vocals with Bing Crosby’s timeless voice. Billboard even named the duet one of the “25 Best New Christmas Songs of 2024,” calling it a perfect mix of past and present. They wrote, “This version breathes new life into a classic, seamlessly blending voices across generations.”

Another music outlet, Consequence of Sound, described the duet as “a warm harmony that feels like the perfect holiday gift.”

Adding to the excitement, Harry Crosby, Bing Crosby’s son, shared a heartfelt video message to V on December 21. On his father’s official social media, he said, “I just heard your duet with my father, and I was beyond amazed. The two of you blended so naturally and beautifully. Thank you for creating something so wonderful.”

This collaboration between V and Bing Crosby is more than just a holiday hit—it’s a heartwarming gift that has brought joy to fans across the globe. The magical duet proves that music truly has no boundaries, even across generations!

  • Former Crayon Pop's ChoA Opens Up About Her Struggle with Cervical Cancer: 'I Dream of the Day I Can Have a Drink with My Husband Again'"

ChoA, former member of the girl group Crayon Pop, has bravely shared her ongoing battle with cervical cancer and her emotional journey.

On January 28, ChoA posted a heartfelt update on her social media, explaining her struggles. "I usually laugh, talk, and live my life as usual, but there are moments when I suddenly face a reality that isn’t like before, and it gets tough," she shared.

She went on to say, "Recently, something difficult happened, and in the past, I would have had a drink with my husband to shake it off. I really miss being able to do that."

ChoA admitted that she still can’t fully believe her diagnosis. "When I face the reality I’ve been avoiding, my heart that I’ve built up breaks down," she said. "But the life I’m living now, which I’m still enjoying, is something that someone else might be wishing for. I try to gather my thoughts again with gratitude."

She also expressed hope for the future, saying, "Lately, I dream of a day five years from now when I’ll be declared cancer-free and be able to have a drink with my husband after putting the kids to bed, after all the struggles. It’s been almost two years, so I believe the day I get that clean bill of health will come soon."

ChoA married a businessman in 2021, six years older than her. In October 2023, she revealed her cervical cancer diagnosis, sharing that she had been diagnosed during a routine check-up in her first year of marriage.

Despite everything, ChoA remains hopeful, noting that the cancer was smaller than expected during surgery, and she was able to preserve her fertility—a step closer to her dream of becoming a mother.
