• BTS’s V's 'White Christmas' Makes it to Billboard’s List of ‘25 Best New Christmas Songs of 2024’

BTS's V has just earned another impressive achievement as his version of "White Christmas," a collaboration with the legendary Bing Crosby, was named one of Billboard's 25 Best New Christmas Songs of 2024!

Billboard’s highly anticipated list features the best new holiday tunes of the year, offering fresh takes on classic Christmas carols. This year’s collection includes a variety of genres, from pop and R&B to K-pop, jazz, and rock, showing the incredible diversity of talent bringing new life to the holiday season.

While many of the songs on the list come from long-time favorites like Mariah Carey and Michael Bublé, Billboard highlighted how artists across the music world put their unique twist on holiday classics.

In explaining why V’s "White Christmas" made the cut, Billboard said, “Thanks to cutting-edge audio separation technology, the voice of Bing Crosby, a holiday legend, is paired with one of today's brightest stars, V. The combination creates a flawless mix of two generations, making this version of ‘White Christmas’ a perfect holiday treat.”

V’s "White Christmas" isn’t the only standout on the list. Other notable tracks include Lady Gaga's "Santa Claus Is Coming to Town," Ed Sheeran's "Under the Tree," and Kelly Clarkson's "You for Christmas." These songs, along with V's holiday classic, have quickly become some of the best new songs to enjoy this season.

This recognition adds to the growing list of seasonal hits from V. His 2021 release "Christmas Tree" from the drama "Our Beloved Summer" was also included in Billboard’s “25 Best Christmas Songs of the 21st Century,” solidifying his status as a holiday music favorite.

And the holiday magic doesn’t stop there! Last month, V’s collaboration "Winter Ahead" with Park Hyo Shin was also named one of Billboard's 27 Best Winter Songs for This Season, with the magazine praising its fresh and timeless appeal.
