• "Honey, Fighting!" Son Ye Jin Cheers on Husband Hyun Bin at "Harbin" Premiere

Actress Son Ye Jin is showing nothing but love and support for her husband, fellow actor Hyun Bin, as he gears up for the release of his new movie Harbin.

On December 19, Son Ye Jin made a special appearance at the VIP premiere of Harbin (directed by Woo Min-ho), which took place at the CGV Yongsan I-Park Mall in Seoul. This marked the first time Son Ye Jin attended a premiere for one of Hyun Bin’s films, drawing plenty of attention from fans and media alike.

In a brief interview at the event, Son Ye Jin shared, “Why am I more nervous? It’s not even my film, but 'Honey, fighting!'" sending a sweet and supportive message to her husband.

She went on to describe the hard work Hyun Bin put into the film, saying, “I watched him from the side, and he worked so hard that it was almost heartbreaking. His face became gaunt, and I could see the agony in his eyes. As a fellow actor, I understand that pain, so I felt really sorry for him, but I firmly believe that a great movie will come out of it.”

The actor couple’s bond is filled with mutual respect and understanding. Previously, Hyun Bin appeared on You Quiz on the Block to promote Harbin, where he shared sweet stories about his relationship with Son Ye Jin. He revealed that after the birth of their son, he sent a coffee truck to Son Ye Jin while she was filming her first project after childbirth, showing how supportive they are of each other’s careers.

Son Ye Jin is currently filming Park Chan-wook’s new project No Choice, where she stars alongside Lee Byung-hun. Hyun Bin shared, “After we got married, since it was my wife’s first project, I sent a coffee truck in our son’s name to cheer her on. I know how badly she wanted to act. She must have wanted to do it even more while watching me. But as a mother, she had to take care of certain things, so she endured it. I felt sorry for her, but seeing her excited about this project made me feel even happier.”

He also added, “After finishing filming Harbin, I think my wife could feel the pressure I was under. She told me I did a great job. After filming, I will say the same to her, ‘You did great,’” showing just how deeply they support and care for each other.

Meanwhile, Hyun Bin’s much-anticipated film Harbin, set in 1909, follows a high-stakes chase and intrigue between people heading to Harbin with secret plans and those trying to stop them. The film will be released on December 24, and fans are eagerly waiting to see Hyun Bin's performance.

  • Former Crayon Pop's ChoA Opens Up About Her Struggle with Cervical Cancer: 'I Dream of the Day I Can Have a Drink with My Husband Again'"

ChoA, former member of the girl group Crayon Pop, has bravely shared her ongoing battle with cervical cancer and her emotional journey.

On January 28, ChoA posted a heartfelt update on her social media, explaining her struggles. "I usually laugh, talk, and live my life as usual, but there are moments when I suddenly face a reality that isn’t like before, and it gets tough," she shared.

She went on to say, "Recently, something difficult happened, and in the past, I would have had a drink with my husband to shake it off. I really miss being able to do that."

ChoA admitted that she still can’t fully believe her diagnosis. "When I face the reality I’ve been avoiding, my heart that I’ve built up breaks down," she said. "But the life I’m living now, which I’m still enjoying, is something that someone else might be wishing for. I try to gather my thoughts again with gratitude."

She also expressed hope for the future, saying, "Lately, I dream of a day five years from now when I’ll be declared cancer-free and be able to have a drink with my husband after putting the kids to bed, after all the struggles. It’s been almost two years, so I believe the day I get that clean bill of health will come soon."

ChoA married a businessman in 2021, six years older than her. In October 2023, she revealed her cervical cancer diagnosis, sharing that she had been diagnosed during a routine check-up in her first year of marriage.

Despite everything, ChoA remains hopeful, noting that the cancer was smaller than expected during surgery, and she was able to preserve her fertility—a step closer to her dream of becoming a mother.
