• CRAVITY Opens Up About Their Exciting 10-Month Comeback, Hopes to Repay Fans with New Album ‘FIND THE ORBIT’

    CRAVITY (Serim, Allen, Jungmo, Ubin, Wonjin, Minhee, Hyeongjun, Taeyoung, Seongmin) is back and shining brighter than ever with their latest photoshoot, showing off their unique charms and powerful bond!

    On December 19, Cosmopolitan magazine revealed a stunning photoshoot and interview with CRAVITY for its January issue. This marks the group’s return to the spotlight after 10 months, following the release of their highly anticipated single FIND THE ORBIT on December 5. The track quickly skyrocketed to the top of domestic music charts and achieved a career-high in first-week sales, signaling CRAVITY’s strong comeback.

    The photoshoot, which took place from morning until evening, captured CRAVITY at their peak, radiating professional energy and chemistry. Despite the long day, the members didn’t show any signs of fatigue, impressing the staff with their dedication and unity.

    In their interview, CRAVITY expressed their excitement about being back on stage after such a long break. Serim shared, "I was most excited to meet our fans, Lovities, on music shows after such a long time," while Allen added, "Since it’s been 10 months, I hope this album will be a way to repay our Lovities." Seongmin also said, "It’s great to end the year on stage with our Lovities," showing how much they care about their fans.

    Known for their dynamic performances, CRAVITY brought their "Performobity" title to life with their new track Now or Never. Wonjin highlighted the importance of their stage performances, saying, "There are many key choreographic points, but I think the movements we express when the song reaches its climax will be something to watch closely." Hyeongjun added, "We perform with one goal in mind, but each member brings their own personality and interpretation, making CRAVITY’s performance stand out."

    The group also shared insights into their personal challenges. Jungmo opened up about his life-changing decision to join Starship Entertainment, saying, "Joining Starship Entertainment was the biggest challenge of my life. It completely changed my life’s direction. At first, I thought it wasn’t what I expected, but I’m so satisfied to have debuted as CRAVITY." Taeyoung reflected on a fulfilling personal experience, sharing, "During my last vacation, I planned everything from the flight to the hotel all by myself and went on a family trip to Bali."

    CRAVITY’s journey hasn’t been without its challenges, including their victory on Mnet’s Road to Kingdom: ACE OF ACE. Seongmin recalled, "‘Road to Kingdom’ was the biggest challenge I’ve faced. I was quite scared at first, but as we went through each stage, I slowly overcame my fears. I learned a lot and grew from that experience."

    Looking to the future, the members revealed new challenges they’d like to pursue. Minhee expressed interest in learning an instrument, saying, "I want to try playing an instrument. I’ll choose one that suits me and show it to our Lovities on stage." Ubin, on the other hand, shared his laid-back approach to life, saying, "My life motto is 'Live in the present.' I’m ready to enjoy whatever challenges come my way."

The "ddongcha" theory has been a subject of online debate for years, with many viewers critiquing Hyun Jin-heon’s character as overly arrogant and entitled.

    Hyun Bin, who first rose to fame in My Name is Kim Sam-soon, took the time to reflect on the character that made him a household name. He shared, “I was just following the script; there were no personal opinions added to the character of Hyun Jin-heon. At that time, I knew Hyun Jin-heon was portrayed as a ‘bad boy,’ and the way it was expressed was different from today’s standards.”

    With My Name is Kim Sam-soon now being re-released as part of Wavve's "New Classic" project, fans are revisiting the 2005 drama, and the character of Hyun Jin-heon is under fresh scrutiny. Director Kim Yun-cheol even admitted that the "prince on a white horse" and "bad boy" tropes that once worked in 2005 don’t quite match today's sensibilities, leading to edits in the 2024 version.

    Hyun Bin humbly acknowledged his gratitude for his successful career and hit works, saying, "It’s wonderful and I am grateful to have so many hit works. I’ve been fortunate to work with amazing writers, directors, and actors. Thanks to them, I’ve received a lot of attention and love." He also shared a sense of humility, noting, “But I never know when that luck will come again."
