Former LABOUM member Yulhee seems unbothered by the ongoing controversy surrounding her ex-husband, FT Island’s Choi Minhwan. While Minhwan is busy denying allegations of soliciting prostitution, Yulhee has been sharing her peaceful daily life online.
On December 19, Yulhee posted on Instagram, saying, "Washed up before bed, mask pack time. Gua sha time," along with a simple photo of her nighttime routine. Fans noticed her relaxed vibe, contrasting sharply with Minhwan’s current struggles.
Recently, Minhwan made a public statement, addressing the serious accusations against him. He said, “As reported, I’ve never solicited prostitution. The ‘insufficient evidence’ ruling doesn’t mean I’m guilty. How can I prove something I didn’t do? That’s all I can say.”
Despite his emotional defense, Yulhee has stayed silent about the matter, continuing to share her calm and everyday life instead.
Minhwan also spoke about past accusations from Yulhee, who once claimed he showed suspicious behavior. He admitted, “Yes, I went to hotels and motels, but it was because I needed to be alone. I know it sounds strange, but it’s the truth. There’s no solid evidence to clear my name, and I feel sorry for that. I’m not running away or hiding anything—I just want people to believe me.”
When confronted by a fan about visits to entertainment establishments, Minhwan defended himself with frustration, saying, “Why is everyone so curious? I’ve been tied down for a long time. I don’t need condoms. I carry toothbrushes because I care about cleanliness.”
Yulhee and Minhwan, who got married in 2018, share three kids: a son and twin daughters. Their marriage ended in December last year, with Yulhee later revealing details about Minhwan’s alleged visits to questionable places, causing a major controversy. This led Minhwan to step away from FT Island’s activities and the variety show The Return of Superman.
While Minhwan tries to address the backlash, Yulhee continues to enjoy her quiet, drama-free life, leaving fans wondering if she’s truly moved on.
