• Netizens Are Asking the Same Question: Why Isn’t Na In Woo Serving in the Military Despite His Perfect Health?

Actor Na In Woo is facing some serious questions about his military exemption after a complaint was filed to the Military Manpower Agency.

On December 17th, a concerned internet user lodged a formal complaint asking the agency to explain why Na In Woo, who was born in 1994, has not enlisted in the military.

The complaint pointed out that actors and other young men usually have to enlist before turning 30, and definitely by 31. It’s especially unusual when someone is classified as a "4th-grade supplementary reserve" like Na In Woo, and hasn’t been called up for enlistment.

The complaint also raised doubts about Na In Woo's health and fitness. "He’s around 190cm tall, has excellent physical condition, and his vision is nearly 2.0", the complaint stated. "He even jumped into the sea during a variety show ('1 Night 2 Days'), showing no signs of any health issues".

The complaint questioned why someone in such great shape would be waiting for 3 years to be called up as a supplementary reserve, and why he was exempted from service after filming 8 dramas and appearing on various shows from 2021 to 2024.

There was also no public information suggesting he had any special exemptions, such as being the descendant of a national hero, and there were no academic issues either.

Na In Woo’s agency, Hanada Company, gave a response saying that after being classified as a 4th-grade supplementary reserve, he waited for his military summons.

However, after three years, he was exempted from military service. The agency did not clarify why he was classified as 4th-grade, adding even more fuel to the public’s curiosity.

Na In Woo recently left the popular variety show 1 Night 2 Days in June, and now fans are eagerly awaiting his next role.

He’ll appear in the MBC drama Motel California, which will air on Fridays and Saturdays starting on January 10th at 10 PM. In this drama, he plays "Cheon Yeon Su", who reunites with his first love, "Ji Kang Hee" (played by Lee Se Young), after 12 years.

Netizens are hoping that Na In Woo’s military situation will be clarified soon, as many are still wondering about the mystery behind his exemption.
