• Hyun Bin Spills the Sweet Story of How He Fell in Love with Son Ye Jin After "Crash Landing on You"

Actor Hyun Bin has opened up about his love story with his wife, Son Ye Jin, and it’s melting hearts everywhere!

On the December 18 episode of tvN’s You Quiz on the Block, Hyun Bin appeared as a special guest and shared glimpses of his personal and professional life.

When host Yoo Jae Suk jokingly asked, “Do they call you Hyun Bin at home too?” the actor replied with a laugh, “Yes, even at home, they call me Hyun Bin. They say the more I’m called by that name, the better, so even my parents call me Hyun Bin.”

Celebrating his 20th year since debuting, Hyun Bin reflected on his journey into acting. “I was just an ordinary student when a senior introduced me to the theater club. After performing, the audience’s applause felt so different—it was a new and exciting experience for me.”

When asked about his personality, he humbly said, “I think I’m just an ordinary person,” surprising both Yoo Jae Suk and Jo Se Ho.

Talking about his breakout role in My Name is Kim Sam Soon, Hyun Bin shared, “It was the project that introduced me as an actor. I had a great time filming it with such amazing people.”

On his iconic sparkling tracksuit from Secret Garden, he laughed, “We made about four of them, and I still have them.” When Yoo Jae Suk joked about whether he still wears them, Hyun Bin responded with a smile.

But the highlight of the interview was when Hyun Bin spoke about his relationship with Son Ye Jin, which blossomed during their hit drama Crash Landing on You. “It’s a project that gave me so much—not just amazing ratings, but also my wife,” he said with a shy smile.

He explained how their romance started naturally after working together. “We first met while filming The Negotiation. I thought it would be nice to meet her again in a romantic drama, and then we reunited through Crash Landing on You. After the drama ended, we stayed in touch, and things just happened naturally.”

Yoo Jae Suk couldn’t resist mentioning Son Ye Jin’s adorable comment from a past interview where she said, “Sa-rang (their child) is my first love.” Hyun Bin playfully responded, “I see,” making everyone laugh.

Fans were touched by the couple’s sweet story and Hyun Bin’s candid moments during the show. It’s safe to say Hyun Bin and Son Ye Jin’s real-life romance is just as magical as their on-screen chemistry!

  • Former Crayon Pop's ChoA Opens Up About Her Struggle with Cervical Cancer: 'I Dream of the Day I Can Have a Drink with My Husband Again'"

ChoA, former member of the girl group Crayon Pop, has bravely shared her ongoing battle with cervical cancer and her emotional journey.

On January 28, ChoA posted a heartfelt update on her social media, explaining her struggles. "I usually laugh, talk, and live my life as usual, but there are moments when I suddenly face a reality that isn’t like before, and it gets tough," she shared.

She went on to say, "Recently, something difficult happened, and in the past, I would have had a drink with my husband to shake it off. I really miss being able to do that."

ChoA admitted that she still can’t fully believe her diagnosis. "When I face the reality I’ve been avoiding, my heart that I’ve built up breaks down," she said. "But the life I’m living now, which I’m still enjoying, is something that someone else might be wishing for. I try to gather my thoughts again with gratitude."

She also expressed hope for the future, saying, "Lately, I dream of a day five years from now when I’ll be declared cancer-free and be able to have a drink with my husband after putting the kids to bed, after all the struggles. It’s been almost two years, so I believe the day I get that clean bill of health will come soon."

ChoA married a businessman in 2021, six years older than her. In October 2023, she revealed her cervical cancer diagnosis, sharing that she had been diagnosed during a routine check-up in her first year of marriage.

Despite everything, ChoA remains hopeful, noting that the cancer was smaller than expected during surgery, and she was able to preserve her fertility—a step closer to her dream of becoming a mother.
