• BTS's Jin Shocks Everyone by Beating MMA Legend Kim Dong Hyun in a New Episode of 'Run Jin Run'

BTS's Jin showed off his amazing skills in martial arts and earned big praise from MMA legend Kim Dong Hyun!

On December 17, BTS's official YouTube and Weverse channels shared the latest episode of Jin's solo series, Run Jin Run, titled "Goodbye Seokjin." This exciting solo content is already trending worldwide on YouTube, proving Jin's incredible global popularity.

The episode started with a surprise visit to Kim Dong Hyun's gym. Jin looked shocked when he realized where he was. Kim Dong Hyun, known as Korea's first UFC fighter and a true MMA icon, greeted Jin warmly. Despite feeling nervous at first, Jin quickly adapted and showed his skills as a natural athlete.

Kim and Jin, who knew each other from Run BTS, were happy to catch up. Broadcaster Jonathan also joined, making the episode even more fun!

The first task was to knock Kim Dong Hyun over while he stood his ground. Kim confidently said, "I've rarely been knocked down in the UFC." The second task was flipping him over while he was lying down. Kim joked, "I’ve never seen the ceiling in the UFC!"

Jin gave it his all and impressed Kim with his strength. Kim admitted, "You’re really strong!" Later, Kim showed why he's a legend by effortlessly flipping Jin, leaving everyone in awe.

Next up was the ultimate endurance challenge, running on a steep treadmill called "My Mountain," designed by Kim himself. Jin set the bar high by lasting 1 minute 32 seconds, a remarkable feat even for pro fighters! Kim was amazed and said, "This is unbelievable. Only those who’ve tried it will know how tough it is."

Jonathan gave it a shot but lasted only 1 minute 8 seconds, which made everyone laugh. Jin joked, "If Jonathan ran first, I could’ve hit 1 minute 40 seconds!"

Jin and Jonathan trained under Kim Dong Hyun and his MMA trainees, including Sambu World Champion Go Seok Hyun. Jin’s playful moves and "intense gaze" had everyone laughing, but he also showed serious determination.

The final mission was for Jin to topple Kim Dong Hyun within 90 seconds. To everyone's shock, Jin pulled it off! Kim couldn’t believe it and said, "Even with five people, I’ve never been taken down before. How did he do it?"

Kim praised Jin, calling him "an MMA prodigy," while Jin humbly said it was teamwork with Jonathan that made it happen.

Jin won gift certificates as a prize but decided to give them to Kim Dong Hyun's hardworking trainees, saying, "You deserve this for all your effort." He even promised Jonathan a special gift of premium beef, showing his thoughtful side.

Fans called this episode of Run Jin Run legendary, praising Jin’s looks, athleticism, humor, and kind heart.

The next episode teases an exciting team-up between Jin and J-Hope, who recently finished his military service. Fans can’t wait to see what’s in store!

Meanwhile, Jin’s solo album Happy, released on November 15, continues to break records. The album ranked 3rd in first-week sales on Japan's Oricon chart, and its title track, "Running Wild," has become a TikTok sensation with over 1.7 million videos!
