  • Park Hyung Sik Sets the Record Straight: No, He’s NOT Dating Park Bo Young—Here’s What Really Happened

Park Hyung Sik has finally spoken out about the dating rumors with his Strong Woman Do Bong Soon co-star, Park Bo Young, after fans were buzzing over their recent interactions.

On January 25, a new video titled "'Did I date Bo Young noona? Actually, the truth of that day…" dropped on Singles Magazine's YouTube channel.

In the interview, Park Hyung Sik shared his thoughts about love and family, and also addressed those steamy dating rumors that recently made headlines.

When asked about what brings him joy these days, Park Hyung Sik revealed, “What makes me happiest is being with the people who love me”, joking, “I must be suffering from love deficiency. I keep seeking out people who love me!”

He also added a little insight into his family dynamics, saying, “I’m the youngest at home, but my family has always been very affectionate. I think I absorbed all of that”.

Talking about his own family, Park Hyung Sik said his older brother is very affectionate, often ending their calls with “I love you”, which makes others in the family do a double-take.

“When I hang up with my older brother, everyone looks at him like, ‘Did I just hear that?’” he laughed, admitting his family has always been a bit different in expressing love.

Reflecting on his childhood, he shared a heartwarming memory of his father saying “I love you” before leaving for work every morning, which made him feel very comfortable showing affection.

As for the Strong Woman Do Bong Soon set, Park Hyung Sik reminisced about filming the drama, recalling that the staff had noticed the natural chemistry between him and Park Bo Young, joking, “When we were filming, the camera directors said, ‘There’s something suspicious between the two of you’”. The affection between them was so real that it made staff wonder if they were secretly dating!

The rumors flared up again after an October charity event for breast cancer awareness, where Park Bo Young was seen tenderly removing an eyelash from Park Hyung Sik’s face. That moment sparked online speculations that the two might be a couple.

But Park Hyung Sik was quick to clear things up, saying, “She was sitting next to me and said, ‘Let me take a picture.’ Then she noticed my eyelash and said, ‘Hyung Sik, you have an eyelash here.’ I asked, ‘Where?’ and she took it off for me.”

He added, “It was edited that way, so I could understand why it might look that way,” directly putting those dating rumors to rest.

Looks like it’s just pure affection between two friends!
