TWICE is showing their unstoppable power by ranking 4th on the U.S. Billboard's "Billboard 200" chart with their new album "STRATEGY".
On December 15, Billboard announced that TWICE's mini-album "STRATEGY", released on December 6, achieved an impressive 88,000 units, earning the 4th spot on the "Billboard 200" chart.
This latest achievement sets a historic record for K-pop girl groups as TWICE now has six consecutive albums in the Top 10. Their chart-topping journey includes:
- "Taste of Love" (6th in June 2021),
- "Formula of Love: O+T=<3" (3rd in November 2021),
- "BETWEEN 1&2" (3rd in August 2022),
- "READY TO BE" (2nd in March 2023),
- "With YOU-th" (1st in February 2024),
- and now "STRATEGY" at 4th!
With this, TWICE solidifies their status as a "global top girl group", breaking records and winning hearts worldwide.
TWICE’s title track "Strategy (feat. Megan Thee Stallion)" has also become a fan favorite, delivering a confident and empowering message about "winning over a loved one with clever strategies."
The members expressed their gratitude through JYP Entertainment, saying, "This album was carefully prepared to connect with more of our fans. We’re especially excited to return to music shows for the first time in 10 months."
They added, "Thank you for all the love from fans around the world. Next year, we’ll perform as a special guest at Coldplay’s concert in Korea and prepare an incredible new world tour with surprising stages. Please look forward to TWICE’s activities into 2025!"
TWICE continues to shine globally with incredible achievements. Last month, they made history as the first K-pop artists to perform on "Amazon Music Live," breaking viewership records with their electrifying stage.
To wrap up the year, TWICE will appear on Japan's famous year-end broadcast, NHK's "Kohaku Uta Gassen" (The 75th Red and White Song Battle), marking their fifth time performing on the prestigious stage.
TWICE’s global success shows no signs of slowing down, and fans can’t wait to see what they’ll bring next!
