Google Trends analyzes search activity across different regions and languages, and in 79 countries, V was the #1 K-pop star searched, including big countries like the United States, the United Kingdom, and Japan. The only places where he didn’t dominate were a few in the Middle East and Central Asia.
Since BTS's debut in 2013, V has been a search sensation, always at the top. In both 2021 and 2022, he had the highest search volume among all Asian stars, and now, even while enlisted in the military, his fame continues to soar.
In 2024, V also made waves globally, ranking 4th in the list of most searched male artists worldwide, behind only massive stars like Drake, Eminem, and Justin Bieber.
