• BTS's Jin Causes a Global Fashion Frenzy with Minnesota University Sweatshirt in "Running Wild" Music Video

BTS's Jin has once again set the internet ablaze, but this time it’s not for his music—it’s for his fashion choice in the "Running Wild" music video!

Released as part of his first solo album Happy on November 15, Jin's sweatshirt from the University of Minnesota has become an instant sensation. Fans everywhere are scrambling to get their hands on the same vintage item after seeing the BTS star wear it in the music video.

The "Golden Gophers" sweatshirt, which features the iconic gold "M" logo, became the center of attention after the video dropped. According to U.S. NBC affiliate KARE, the vintage University of Minnesota sweatshirt, which had been sold out for years, made a major comeback thanks to Jin’s appearance in it.

In the Running Wild music video, Jin wears the now-famous sweatshirt, and while the reason behind his choice remains a mystery, it’s clear that it’s causing a massive stir. Fans worldwide immediately took to the Minnesota University campus bookstore, eager to know how they could snag the same item.

Neil O'Neil, an employee at the bookstore, revealed, “We all know what the most in-demand item is right now.” He explained that the sweatshirt had been sold out for years, and its popularity exploded after Jin was spotted wearing it.

Fans began calling the store, asking when it would be restocked, with many hoping to get their hands on the vintage item. The bookstore is now working hard to restock the sweatshirt, which is expected to be available soon.

And if you’re wondering if you can buy it from someone else, O'Neil had a simple answer: "If anyone has this shirt, bring it right over. We’ll buy it from you."

The sudden surge in demand even surprised the Minnesota University bookstore staff. They revealed that the sweatshirt, which dates back to the early 2000s, was never expected to become a global sensation. However, thanks to Jin’s influence, it’s now in high demand.

While the reason for Jin wearing the sweatshirt is still unknown, Minnesota University has teamed up with Champion to re-release the vintage item for future sales.

This is far from the first time Jin has sparked a fashion frenzy. Known as the "Global Sold-Out King," Jin has made waves in the fashion world with his endorsements. From luxury jewelry to high-end brands like GUCCI, he consistently causes sell-out frenzies, with websites crashing due to high traffic.

In addition to his fashion success, Jin is also a global ambassador for several top brands, including ALO, Dolby, and Laneige, solidifying his status as a superstar with global influence.

Meanwhile, his solo track "Running Wild" is dominating the charts, breaking records with over 1.7 million TikTok posts just 10 days after its release, ranking second among all-time Korean male solo songs.

  • Park Hyung Sik Sets the Record Straight: No, He’s NOT Dating Park Bo Young—Here’s What Really Happened

Park Hyung Sik has finally spoken out about the dating rumors with his Strong Woman Do Bong Soon co-star, Park Bo Young, after fans were buzzing over their recent interactions.

On January 25, a new video titled "'Did I date Bo Young noona? Actually, the truth of that day…" dropped on Singles Magazine's YouTube channel.

In the interview, Park Hyung Sik shared his thoughts about love and family, and also addressed those steamy dating rumors that recently made headlines.

When asked about what brings him joy these days, Park Hyung Sik revealed, “What makes me happiest is being with the people who love me”, joking, “I must be suffering from love deficiency. I keep seeking out people who love me!”

He also added a little insight into his family dynamics, saying, “I’m the youngest at home, but my family has always been very affectionate. I think I absorbed all of that”.

Talking about his own family, Park Hyung Sik said his older brother is very affectionate, often ending their calls with “I love you”, which makes others in the family do a double-take.

“When I hang up with my older brother, everyone looks at him like, ‘Did I just hear that?’” he laughed, admitting his family has always been a bit different in expressing love.

Reflecting on his childhood, he shared a heartwarming memory of his father saying “I love you” before leaving for work every morning, which made him feel very comfortable showing affection.

As for the Strong Woman Do Bong Soon set, Park Hyung Sik reminisced about filming the drama, recalling that the staff had noticed the natural chemistry between him and Park Bo Young, joking, “When we were filming, the camera directors said, ‘There’s something suspicious between the two of you’”. The affection between them was so real that it made staff wonder if they were secretly dating!

The rumors flared up again after an October charity event for breast cancer awareness, where Park Bo Young was seen tenderly removing an eyelash from Park Hyung Sik’s face. That moment sparked online speculations that the two might be a couple.

But Park Hyung Sik was quick to clear things up, saying, “She was sitting next to me and said, ‘Let me take a picture.’ Then she noticed my eyelash and said, ‘Hyung Sik, you have an eyelash here.’ I asked, ‘Where?’ and she took it off for me.”

He added, “It was edited that way, so I could understand why it might look that way,” directly putting those dating rumors to rest.

Looks like it’s just pure affection between two friends!
