The group—Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, and Umji—kicked off their anniversary celebrations in style, appearing on Dingo Music’s YouTube channel for the special segment "Killing Voice." The video skyrocketed to the top of YouTube's Korean trending videos chart on November 11, just one day after its release. By the morning of November 13, it was still holding the #1 spot, showing just how much fans have been craving the group’s return.

Fans flooded the comments section, sharing their excitement with messages like, "The time that stopped is flowing again," and "Even though it’s been a while, the intro brought back all the memories." Many fans shared how they’ve missed GFRIEND, saying things like, "My youth was GFRIEND," showing just how much the group means to them.

International fans were equally excited, as the video ranked high in trending charts across Japan, Indonesia, Taiwan, and Hong Kong. As of the morning of November 13, the video had surpassed 2.85 million views, thanks to the massive interest from the global K-pop community.

Actor Lee Dong Hwi became emotional during his acceptance speech as he received the Best Actor Award at the '2nd Pinggyego Award'.

On December 22, DdeunDdeun released a video from the star-studded ceremony, which saw many familiar faces in attendance, including Cha Seung Won, Park Shin Hye, Lee Dong Wook, Yang Se Chan, Lee Jeong Ha, and more.

The award for Best Actor was given to those who appeared on Pinggyego for three or more episodes. Lee Dong Hwi was chosen for the honor, alongside other nominees like Nam Chang Hee, Yang Se Chan, and Jo Se Ho.

When Lee Dong Hwi was announced as the winner, he couldn’t hold back tears, sharing an emotional moment with the audience. "I received so much comfort while doing Pinggyego", he said, fighting back tears.

Reflecting on the past year, he shared, "Last year, I went to the awards empty-handed, feeling really envious of those who won. This is my first time being nominated for Best Actor in my career", expressing his deep gratitude.

He went on to say, "This year was full of difficulties, but also a lot of happy moments. I’m so thankful that I can receive this award because of the fans.
