• BTS Jin's "Run, Seokjin" Goes Viral Globally, Fans Say "I Want to Marry Kim Seokjin" as His Heartwarming Moments With Kids Takes Over YouTube

BTS’s Jin is making waves worldwide with his first-ever self-produced content, Run, Seokjin, and fans can’t get enough of it!

On December 10, BTS dropped a special Run, Seokjin video titled “Only those who want to marry Kim Seokjin, please watch” on their official YouTube and Weverse channels. And, as expected, it quickly gained huge popularity.

In this heartwarming video, Jin, who was a bit nervous about going on his first blind date, meets a young child named Taehwa, born in 2021. At first, Jin was a little flustered, but his charming and playful personality soon won over Taehwa, making him laugh. Jin showed his caring side when he took Taehwa to a kids’ cafe, making sure to fasten the safety belt in the child’s car seat and sing the frog song, one of Taehwa's favorites.

Once they arrived at the cafe, Jin continued to be the thoughtful and loving figure, helping Taehwa down the stairs carefully and even cleaning up the sand that had spilled from the child’s clothes. Their sweet interactions were full of healing moments, bringing smiles to viewers.

Jin and Taehwa also got busy in the kitchen, making mini kimbap and pizza. As Taehwa carefully rolled the kimbap, Jin gently helped hold it in place without Taehwa noticing, showcasing his thoughtful nature. The duo spent a fun and joyful time together, and Jin even gifted Taehwa a toy car and heavy machinery, which the little one loved. After Taehwa left, more children joined Jin for more fun activities, making the video even more heartwarming.

Run, Seokjin quickly climbed the YouTube charts, ranking No. 2 on Korea's Top Trending Videos and No. 2 worldwide in Music Videos on December 11. It also ranked No. 10 globally in YouTube’s Trending Videos, proving that Jin’s charm knows no boundaries.

The success of Run, Seokjin continued into December 12, when it again ranked No. 2 in Korea and worldwide, maintaining its top spots in both Music Videos and Global Trending Videos. Fans are already eagerly anticipating next week's episode, where Jin will have a fun experience with broadcaster Jonathan at a UFC event.

Meanwhile, Jin’s solo debut album Happy, released on November 15, has also taken over global charts, setting new records. It marked the third-highest sales debut for a K-pop solo artist on Japan's Oricon chart, solidifying Jin’s immense popularity and breaking records across the globe.

  • Song Kang Ho Reveals Shocking Reason He Rejected "Joint Security Area" Role at First — Find Out Why He Changed His Mind

Actor Song Kang Ho shocked fans by revealing the surprising reason he initially turned down the iconic role in Joint Security Area (JSA).

On February 4, the movie JSA was celebrated as a "Visionary" work at a special GV (Guest Visit) event for CJ ENM’s 30th anniversary at CGV Yongsan I'Park Mall in Seoul. The event was attended by director Park Chan-wook and stars like Song Kang Ho, Lee Byung Hun, Lee Young Ae, Kim Tae Woo, and Ko Kyung Beom, who shared stories from the making of the film.

Joint Security Area, a groundbreaking film by director Park Chan-wook, tells the story of North and South Korean soldiers caught in a tragic incident at the border, highlighting the human side of the divided nations. The film has been widely praised for changing the perception of inter-Korean relations and is seen as a key moment in Korean cinema.

During the event, Song Kang Ho admitted that he turned down the JSA script at first, saying, "The script was just too perfect. It was so well-written and tightly woven that I couldn’t believe it. I thought, ‘Is this really Korean cinema at this level?’ I felt it was too good, and I figured the movie wouldn’t live up to the script."

He also mentioned that at the time, Park Chan-wook’s previous films hadn’t done well, which made him even more doubtful. "But after meeting the director, I started to trust him," Song Kang Ho added.

Reflecting on the film 20 years later, Song Kang Ho joked, "I was flipping through channels and watched JSA again. I thought, ‘There was a time when I wasn’t envious of Lee Byung Hun,’ but he looked so handsome and cool back then." He continued, laughing, "One thing about Park Chan-wook's films is that they have a depth and elegance that you just can’t forget. It’s probably why his new movie is called I Can’t Help It."

Song Kang Ho also spoke fondly of reuniting with his JSA co-stars after 25 years. He shared, "We didn’t watch the film together, but we had a cozy two-hour dinner. After all this time, it felt nostalgic. It was heartwarming to sit together again and reminisce about the past. It really made me realize how meaningful these moments are."
