To celebrate these achievements, Jimin’s Indonesian fanbase, JVWForJimin, made a generous donation to cover education fees for local orphans, showing the positive impact Jimin’s influence has on his fans.
In Jakarta, Indonesia, a huge outdoor advertisement featuring Jimin’s accomplishments was displayed on a building screen in Thamrin. The special video, created to honor Jimin’s 2024 MAMA Visa Fans' Choice of the Year win, was a touching tribute to the idol. Jimin’s global impact doesn’t stop there. On his birthday, October 13, the Myanmar Jimin fandom celebrated by completing a school building reconstruction project in a refugee area. The school, located in Myanmar’s Pencon and destroyed by airstrikes, was rebuilt, benefiting around 700 students. Even while serving in the military, Jimin continues to inspire with his charitable deeds. He donated 100 million KRW to the Military Service and Comrade Love Fund and 30 million KRW to the Busan Habitat Challenge, a project aimed at improving the living conditions of elderly people in Busan.
