BTS's Jungkook is showing the world his global dominance once again! His solo track "Standing Next to You" has re-entered the UK Official Physical Singles Chart at No. 99, proving that the song still has incredible staying power.

According to the latest UK Official Chart (for the week of December 6–12), Jungkook’s "Standing Next to You" has now charted for an impressive 22 weeks. What's even more impressive? It’s the only track by an Asian male artist on the chart this week, showcasing the song’s continuous popularity.

Originally released in November of last year, "Standing Next to You" made a strong debut at No. 6 on the UK Official Singles Chart Top 100 (on November 10, 2023). The track stayed on the chart for 11 weeks, hit No. 1 on the Official Singles Download Chart, and reached No. 2 on the Official Singles Sales Chart—setting its personal best rankings.

The song also sold over 200,000 copies in the UK, earning the BRIT Certified Silver certification from the British Phonographic Industry (BPI).

But that’s not all! "Standing Next to You" made waves on the Billboard charts as well, debuting at No. 5 on the Hot 100 and charting for an incredible 19 weeks. It also topped the Billboard Global 200 and Global Excl. US charts, charting for 47 and 55 weeks, respectively.

In the U.S., the song became the best-selling K-pop track of the first half of 2024 based on digital downloads. It ranked No. 1 for 5 weeks on the Billboard Digital Song Sales chart in 2023 and was one of the top 10 most downloaded songs in the U.S., surpassing 1 million units sold.

On Spotify, the track achieved another milestone, surpassing 1 billion streams, proving its massive appeal worldwide.

“Standing Next to You” earned a spot in the Grammy Awards' "15 K-Pop Songs That Took 2023 By Storm," where it was hailed as a “timeless hit” with long-lasting influence. It also landed on The 100 Best Songs of 2023 list by the Los Angeles Times.

BTS's Jungkook is making history with his solo track Seven! The song has officially surpassed 2.1 billion streams on Spotify, making it the first and only song by an Asian artist to reach this incredible milestone.

Seven achieved this feat in just 518 days, becoming the fourth-fastest song ever on Spotify to hit 2.1 billion streams globally. This remarkable achievement solidifies Jungkook’s status as the “Music King” with unmatched power in the global music scene.

Before this, Seven already made history by becoming the first song by an Asian artist to hold the number one spot on Spotify’s Daily Top Songs Global for an impressive 71 days. It also held the top spot for 9 weeks on the Weekly Top Songs Global chart in 2023, marking the longest reign for any male artist’s song worldwide that year.
