Actor Kim Jae Young revealed some fun details about his close friendship with actors Byeon Woo Seok and Joo Woo Jae on the December 8 episode of SBS’s My Little Old Boy.
As a special MC on the show, Kim Jae Young made a stunning entrance with his iconic model walk, impressing the "Mother Avengers" group, who couldn’t help but praise his handsome and dignified presence.
When MC Seo Jang Hoon jokingly mentioned that fans say Kim Jae Young’s wish is to always wear a coat no matter the weather, the actor responded with a smile, sharing, "I’m 187 cm tall, and my shoe size is 296 mm."
This sparked further curiosity when Seo Jang Hoon asked if his shoe size was 300 mm, to which Kim Jae Young explained, "I’ve had a habit of wearing shoes that are too small for me since I was young, so my toes are a bit curved." He was then advised to go for shoes around 310 mm for comfort.
But it wasn’t all about fashion. Kim Jae Young also opened up about his deep bond with his fellow actors and former models, Byeon Woo Seok and Joo Woo Jae.
He shared a funny story from one of their year-end gatherings where they all decided to skip the alcohol. "Joo Woo Jae doesn’t like drinking. He doesn’t even enjoy watching others drink. So when we meet, we don’t drink much," he revealed.
Instead, they enjoyed carbonated drinks and spent their time sharing stories about their achievements and talking about their successful friends.
When asked who was the most popular among them during their model days, Kim Jae Young humbly admitted, "None of us were very popular as models back then. However, Joo Woo Jae was probably the most well-known because he was famous for his fashion in Hongdae."
The conversation took a lighthearted turn when Seo Jang Hoon joked, "It’s a bit sad that you all sat together," and Shin Dong Yup humorously added, "It seems like they spent meaningless time together," causing everyone to burst into laughter.
Kim Jae Young’s career began as a model in 2011, and he later made his acting debut in 2013 with the film No Breathing.
