BTS member Jin is proving why he’s called "Worldwide Handsome" as he dominates KDOL rankings and shines with his solo album achievements!
On KDOL, a K-pop idol popularity app where fans from all over the world cast their votes, Jin swept both the November Monthly Ranking and the December Birthday Ranking.
He claimed first place in the November rankings with an incredible 723,875,903 hearts. Fans across Korea, the U.S., Japan, Southeast Asia, and Europe made sure their votes were counted, earning Jin the top spot in KDOL’s daily, weekly, and monthly rankings.
Jin also set a record by leading KDOL's Weekly Rankings for four weeks straight, from October 28 to November 24.
He maintained the #1 spot in the Daily Rankings for 20 days in a row, from November 1 to November 20 — an unmatched achievement on the platform.
In the December Birthday Ranking, held from October 20 to November 16, Jin collected an astounding 639,673,894 hearts. On the final voting day alone, he received over 231 million hearts, securing his victory.
As a reward for his KDOL wins, Jin will have celebratory CM ads displayed in key spots. His November Monthly Ranking victory will be featured in two major subway stations, and for his December Birthday Ranking, his ads will appear at Samsung Station and Apgujeong Station until January 1, 2024.
But that's not all! Jin is also making waves with his solo album, Happy, which dropped on November 15. The album debuted at No. 4 on the U.S.
Billboard 200 chart, while its title track, “Running Wild,” entered the Billboard Hot 100 at No. 53. Happy has been performing strongly on global charts, holding a top spot for two weeks on the UK Official Chart.
Fans are also showing their love on TikTok! Within ten days of its release, Happy became a viral hit, surpassing 1.7 million posts on the platform and ranking as the second most popular Korean male solo song on TikTok.
