• BLACKPINK's Rosé Reveals Her Secret Struggles with Depression and Fear of Being Forgotten

BLACKPINK member Rosé recently opened up about her struggles with depression and burnout during an honest conversation.

On December 5, a video with Rosé was uploaded to Daesung's YouTube channel, 'ZIP DAESUNG.' In the episode, Rosé shared her personal experiences and challenges during the COVID-19 pandemic.

"I had shingles during the pandemic," Rosé revealed, explaining, "It was because I kept thinking, 'What if no one looks for BLACKPINK anymore? What will I do with my life then?'"

Rosé added, "Since I was 16, my whole life was about becoming a singer. But at that moment, I thought, 'What if I lose my job at this age?'"

Daesung asked if the stress led to her shingles, and Rosé replied, "Yes. This is the first time I'm talking about this, but I’ve also dealt with depression. It’s like a cold for the mind," she said, drawing understanding and support from viewers.

She also reflected on her workaholic tendencies and how it impacted her mental health. "Work is my hobby. I only feel accomplished when I work. But when I take a break, I don’t want to do anything. The problem is, because I’m a workaholic, I just kept going," she said.

Rosé admitted that her non-stop work habits left her feeling drained. "I’ve been a bit burnt out. Maybe not completely, but I worked every single day. I thought it meant I was growing, but recently I realized it wasn’t like that at all. My brain just shut down."

To recover, she decided to take time for herself. "I realized if I kept going like that, I wouldn’t be able to do what I’m supposed to. Only I can take responsibility for myself, so I took a full day to rest," she explained.

Rosé shared how that break changed her perspective. "It was the first time I truly felt that way. Before, it felt like I built a cement wall around myself because there was so much to do. But after resting, I could finally focus on things I hadn’t been able to."

Fans have been praising Rosé for her bravery in opening up about such personal struggles, expressing their support and admiration for her honesty.

  • BTS' Jin visits Andong to help wildfire victims, serves meals at Baek Jong Won’s relief center

BTS member Jin has touched hearts once again with his kind gesture to support those affected by wildfires.

On April 3, Jin visited Gilan Middle School in Gilan-myeon, Andong, to serve meals to disaster victims and firefighters. His actions brought much-needed comfort to the people in the area.

Gilan Middle School is where celebrity chef Baek Jong Won, a close friend of Jin, has been running a free meal service through his company, The Born Korea.

Since March 28, The Born Korea has been providing meals for the wildfire victims, preparing 300 to 700 servings each time to ensure that the affected people and firefighters receive warm food.

Jin quietly made his way to Andong, a region that suffered extensive damage from the wildfire, to lend a helping hand.

Big Hit Music, Jin’s agency, shared, “Jin wanted to provide even a small amount of help to those affected by the wildfires, which is why he decided to participate in this volunteer activity.”

This heartwarming gesture follows BTS's large donations for wildfire recovery efforts. Jungkook donated a whopping 1 billion KRW, while V gave 200 million KRW, and RM, J-Hope, and Suga each contributed 100 million KRW to aid in the recovery.
