Singer-songwriter Lee Seung Yoon recently graced the cover of The Star magazine, sharing a glimpse into his life and thoughts.
On December 3, The Star released its December issue, featuring Lee Seung Yoon on the cover, along with a stunning photo shoot. In the images, he shows off his boyish smile while surrounded by falling snow, and his gaze holds a sense of melancholy, perfectly capturing the romantic winter vibe. Wrapped in a cozy blanket, his unique charm shines through as he looks directly at the camera.
In the accompanying interview, Lee Seung Yoon opened up about his pride in his third full-length album, Yeokseong (Reverse), released in October. "It’s an album I’m very proud of," he shared. "The story I wanted to tell the most is about the 'noise' – the feelings of thinking 'Maybe I am just noise' or the courage of wanting to be the main melody just once, like a reverse revolution."
He also reflected on his recent nationwide tour, which visited six cities. "At this moment, I’m happier than ever as a musician," he said. "I’m not sure where my energy comes from, but it’s probably from the stage itself, that space, and the audience."
When asked to define himself, Lee Seung Yoon responded, "The person who made the album Yeokseong." He added, "I truly think that I started making music to create this album. It’s so precious to me. Of course, over time, a sense of longing will arise, but right now, I feel like 'I was born to do this.'"
Lee Seung Yoon wrapped up his successful nationwide tour, 2024 LEE SEUNG YOON CONCERT 易聲, with a final performance in Gwangju on November 30.
