BTS member Jin has once again shown his incredible influence, living up to his title as the “Global Sold-Out King.”
On November 30, Jin attended a special high-touch fan event in Japan with over 700 lucky fans. This marked his first visit to Japan in five years since BTS’s MAGIC SHOP fan meeting in 2019.
Fans were thrilled to see Jin, and many were moved to tears as he greeted them in fluent Japanese, saying, “I’ve been waiting for the day I could meet ARMY again!”
The Japanese media outlet Oricon Music praised Jin’s extraordinary fan service, highlighting how he personally interacted with every fan during the high-touch event.
His heartfelt gestures and warm interactions left a deep impression, showing just how much he values his fans.
At the event, Jin wore a stunning necklace from luxury jewelry brand Fred, which sold out within hours.
The necklace, valued at ₩31.58 million (around $23,700), is a modern reinterpretation of the iconic piece featured in the classic movie Pretty Woman.
Fred, a high-end European brand loved by royals and celebrities, appointed Jin as its first global ambassador in 88 years.
This isn’t the first time Jin has caused sellouts for Fred. Since becoming the brand’s ambassador in July, his influence has led to massive sales, including a ₩134.6 million (about $101,000) necklace, a ₩37.5 million (about $28,100) bracelet, and ₩17.2 million (about $12,900) earrings.
His association with the brand even caused Fred’s website to crash and sparked worldwide trends on social media.
Jin’s power goes beyond jewelry. As Gucci’s global ambassador, his campaigns have caused similar sellouts.
As Laneige’s ambassador, he helped break sales records for the brand. Jin also represents Alo, Dolby, and Seoul tourism, further proving his global star power.
Even Jin’s everyday purchases make waves. On December 1, the Super Mario Strong King Bowser LEGO set he bought in Japan sold out almost instantly in the U.S. Nintendo Store.
With his unmatched influence and connection with fans, Jin continues to prove why he’s not just a superstar but a true “Sold-Out King.”
