• Hwang In Yeop Reveals His Younger Brother Was a Popular YouTuber and Talks About His Acting Inspiration from Jo In Sung

Actor Hwang In Yeop shared some heartwarming details about his close family bonds, especially with his younger brother, who was once a popular YouTuber.

On November 28, Hwang In Yeop sat down for an interview at a café in Yeoksam-dong, Gangnam, ahead of his role in the upcoming JTBC drama Family by Choice. This marked his first in-person interview in two years, following his last drama Why Her? in 2022.

Family by Choice is a romance drama about three young people who spent ten years as a family before being separated for another ten years, only to reunite. Hwang In Yeop plays Kim San Ha, a charming character who seems to have it all.

When asked about his own family, Hwang In Yeop opened up about their close-knit relationship. “We’re each other’s number one fans,” he said. “We talk about everything, even the smallest details, when I get a new project. I’m so grateful my family gets so involved.”

He went on to say that at home, he acts like the “eldest daughter,” always showing affection and even buying new clothes for his parents every season. He also shared a special family tradition: “We write letters for important messages or anniversaries.”

Hwang In Yeop also talked about his younger brother, who used to be a famous YouTuber and now runs a channel called Inof. “My brother is three years younger than me, and he’s working hard as an aspiring composer,”

Hwang In Yeop explained. “We’ve always communicated a lot with our parents and have a peaceful relationship. We never fought. We’re like best friends—when one of us struggles, we talk it out and support each other.”

He also revealed that his brother played a role in helping him prepare for his upcoming fan meeting. “I asked him for help with song selection,” Hwang In Yeop said, laughing.

“Yesterday, I sang at his studio, and he told me, ‘Don’t sing it like that,’ and gave me some direction.” As for which song he might perform, Hwang In Yeop shared that he’s considering singing a BIGBANG song since he’s excited about their rumored comeback.

Reflecting on his career, Hwang In Yeop shared that actor Jo In Sung was the reason he pursued acting. “I watched Something Happened in Bali with my mom when I was a teenager, and Jo In Sung sunbaenim was so cool,” he recalled.

“His way of speaking, his gestures, his walk—it all left a big impression on me.” Hwang In Yeop even admitted that he used to imitate Jo In Sung in school. “He’s still my muse to this day,” he said.

He also shared how much he admires Jo In Sung. “I like him so much that I don’t even need to meet him in person,” Hwang In Yeop confessed. “Just knowing he exists is enough for me. But if I did meet him on a project, I’d be so nervous that I probably wouldn’t be able to act properly.”

  • Kwon Min Ah worries fans with emotional post about fear and self-blame: “Everything feels scary, I need to get it together”

Former AOA member Kwon Min Ah—who opened up in the past about being bullied—has once again shared a deep and emotional message on social media, leaving fans feeling concerned and sending love.

On April 23, Min Ah took to her Instagram to write:
“I don’t know if I’ve become completely twisted, or if I’m just scared. Maybe I’m afraid the same thing will happen again. Everything feels scary. And I want to say something sharp to myself too—get it together.”

Along with the message, she posted a selfie where she wore a red knit top, had her hair half-up, and showed a soft pout with a calm expression. Though her outfit and style looked casual, the mood of her words felt heavy.

Fans aren’t sure if Min Ah was directing the message toward someone else or simply speaking to herself. The final line, “get it together,” sounds like a tough love reminder to herself—but also makes many wonder what she’s been going through recently.

People quickly filled the comment section with supportive messages, telling her to stay strong and reminding her she’s not alone.

Min Ah debuted with AOA in 2012 and left the group in 2019. In 2020, she made headlines when she revealed that she had been bullied during her time in the group. The confession caused a huge reaction in the K-pop world, leading to conversations about idols’ mental health and group dynamics.

Recently, she surprised fans when it was revealed she began working as a manager at a dermatology clinic, showing a new side of her life outside of the entertainment spotlight.

Fans continue to cheer her on, hoping she finds peace and happiness in whatever path she chooses next.
