• Seo In Young Announces Return to Music After Divorce, Set to Release New Ballad in January

Singer Seo In Young, who recently confirmed her divorce, is ready to make her comeback to the music scene with a brand-new ballad. After a long break, she is preparing to release a new song in January, marking her first release in over four years. Fans are eagerly waiting for her return, especially after her time away from the spotlight.

According to Star News, Seo In Young is in the final stages of preparing her new track, which is scheduled for release in January. Although she had initially planned to return this year, she decided to delay the release to ensure the song would meet her high standards. A source close to Seo In Young shared, "The music video and other parts of the project are being prepared on a larger scale," adding, "She is planning to start her activities in January after fully preparing by the end of the year."

Seo In Young's upcoming ballad will be her first new release since October 2018 when she dropped the song "Pyeonhaetjani" (Have You Been Comfortable?). During her time away, she went through significant life changes, including her marriage to a non-celebrity businessman in February last year. However, just seven months later, rumors about their divorce surfaced, and Seo In Young recently confirmed she is in the middle of a divorce lawsuit.

Her agency, SW Entertainment, confirmed the news, stating, "Seo In Young is currently going through a divorce lawsuit," and reassured, "The process is at the final stages. It's not a bad situation and everything is going according to the usual steps of divorce proceedings. We are negotiating amicably, and it looks like it will be resolved soon." They added that they will provide an official statement once the situation is finalized.

Seo In Young joined SW Entertainment in March this year, and recently, it was reported that she had styled and planned the concept for the new profile images of her junior, Han Iseo. Han Iseo thanked her on social media, expressing her gratitude for a couple necklace Seo In Young gave her.

As for her own return, Seo In Young is focusing on the release of her upcoming ballad. The song will be produced by Yoon Il Sang, SW Entertainment's lead producer, and a well-known figure in the music industry. Yoon Il Sang has produced several hits, including Lee Eun Mi’s "Aein Isseoyo" (I Have a Lover), Cool’s "Haebyeonui Yeoin" (Beach Woman), and Brown Eyed Girls’ "Oasis." The pair has already finished recording the song, and Seo In Young is putting extra effort into making the album a success, including string recordings being done in the U.S. Yoon Il Sang shared, "Seo In Young is focusing on her health and is fully committed to her comeback. The music will definitely be something fans will love."

Seo In Young first debuted in 2002 as a member of the girl group Jewelry, earning fame with hits like "One More Time" and "Super Star." She later built a successful solo career with songs like "Cinderella" and "I Want You," showcasing her unique voice and powerful vocals. Now, fans are excited to see what she has in store for her long-awaited return.
