The PD of the new variety show Handsome Guys, Ryu Ho Jin, shared a sneak peek of BTS's Jin's appearance as the first guest.

On November 28, the production presentation for Handsome Guys took place online. The event was attended by PDs Ryu Ho Jin and Yoon In Hwi, along with actors Cha Tae Hyun, Lee Yi Kyung, Shin Seung Ho, MMA fighter Kim Dong Hyun, and fencer Oh Sang Wook.

Handsome Guys is a Sunday variety show where the cast travels around Korea to explore the country’s culture, nature, landmarks, and meet interesting people.

During the event, PD Ryu Ho Jin explained why Jin was chosen to be the first guest. He said, “Since we are going around to see things that represent Korea, I wanted someone who could talk about Korean culture in a very open way. I knew he was busy, but when I contacted him, Jin said he was very interested in Korean culture.”

Ryu Ho Jin continued, “When he came to the shoot, he was completely overwhelmed and dizzy, and then he went home.”

PD Yoon In Hwi added, “Jin said, 'This is amazing,' and 'I’ve never experienced anything like this.'” Lee Yi Kyung, who is close to Jin, also shared, "This is normal, it’s all okay."

Lee Yi Kyung joked, "My small wish is for Jin to join us. He’s so busy, but can’t I have this one wish? So, I’ve been keeping in contact with him.” Laughing, he added, “At this point, Jin even says, 'This crazy Handsome Guys.'"

Handsome Guys will premiere on December 1 at 7:40 PM.
