The luxury villa where BTS’s Suga once lived has been sold for an incredible 17 billion KRW!
On November 28, reports from BizHankook revealed that the villa, located in the Parc Hannam complex in Seoul’s UN Village, was purchased by Choi Jin-min, the founder of Kiturami Group, and his wife, Kim Mi-hye, a former director of the Kiturami Welfare Foundation.
The couple has already signed the purchase agreement and filed a preliminary court registration to secure their ownership. Choi Jin-min will hold 25% ownership, while Kim Mi-hye will own the remaining 75%.
The duplex villa is an extravagant property, featuring a private area of 268.96㎡ (about 81 pyeong) and a total sale area of 411㎡ (124 pyeong).
Suga previously lived in this luxurious villa under a lease agreement. Before moving there in November 2021, he had purchased a different property in the same neighborhood, Hannam Riverhill, for 3.4 billion KRW in 2018. When Suga moved into Parc Hannam, his agency Big Hit Music reportedly paid a massive 9.5 billion KRW as the deposit for the lease.
Earlier this year, in May, Suga relocated to Nine One Hannam, a high-end residential area that is home to many top celebrities. Notably, BIGBANG’s G-Dragon also lives there, having purchased a luxurious penthouse with an exclusive rooftop terrace for 16.4 billion KRW in cash in 2022. Other notable residents include actor Bae Yong-joon and his wife, actress Park Soo-jin.
Fans are fascinated by Suga’s real estate journey, with his luxurious choices highlighting his incredible success. Meanwhile, his connection to Nine One Hannam further cements the area’s reputation as a celebrity hotspot!
