    Kwak, born in 2004, was drafted by the KIA Tigers in the 5th round (42nd overall) of the 2023 KBO Draft. Since then, he has become a key left-handed pitcher for the team. This season, he recorded 4 wins, 2 losses, 16 holds, 2 saves, and an ERA of 3.56 over 71 games. With 64 strikeouts in 55⅔ innings, Kwak has shown his impressive skills on the mound.
