BTS's Jimin continues to dominate the music scene as his hit song "Who" stays on both of the U.S. Billboard main charts for an incredible 18 weeks in a row.
On November 26, Billboard revealed the latest "Hot 100" chart for the week of November 30, where Jimin's "Who" ranked 45th. This makes it the highest position for a song by a Korean solo artist in 18 weeks since 2013.
With 18 weeks of charting, "Who" has set a new record as the longest-charting K-pop song of 2024, beating out other K-pop songs released this year.
"Who" was released on July 19 and debuted at No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100, quickly climbing to No. 12 the following week, marking its highest position and proving it was a global hit. Despite being on the chart for so long, the song remains at No. 45, showing it’s still a fan favorite.
Jimin’s solo album MUSE also made waves, entering the Billboard 200 chart at No. 158 and staying on the chart for 18 weeks straight. This makes it the longest-charting album by a Korean artist on this chart in 2024.
On other Billboard charts, MUSE ranked 5th on the "World Albums" chart, while "Who" landed 16th on the "Global (Excl. U.S.)" chart and 21st on the "Global 200." "Who" also charted at No. 33 on the "Streaming Songs" chart, becoming the longest-charting song by a Korean artist (18 weeks) since 2013.
In addition to his impressive chart success, Jimin ranked 95th on the "Artist 100" chart, marking 28 weeks of charting and making him the first Korean solo artist to ever reach No. 1 on this chart.
Jimin’s success continues as he’s been nominated for the 2024 Billboard Music Awards (BBMAs) for the second year in a row. His song "Who" earned a nomination for "Top Global K-Pop Song" and he was also nominated for "Top Global K-Pop Artist," solidifying his position as one of K-pop's biggest stars.
