• Min Hee Jin Files Complaint Against HYBE’s CCO and PR Director, Seeks Criminal Penalties

Min Hee Jin, the former CEO of ADOR, the agency behind NewJeans, is taking legal action against two HYBE executives.

On the morning of the 26th, Min Hee Jin's team revealed that she had filed a complaint with the Yongsan Police Station on the 25th, accusing HYBE’s Chief Communications Officer Park Tae Hee and PR Director Cho Seong Hoon of breach of trust.

According to Min Hee Jin's side, both Park and Cho, who were part of HYBE’s shared PR services and received commissions from ADOR, were responsible for promoting NewJeans.

However, they allegedly failed to carry out their duties and even downplayed the group’s achievements, which caused significant harm to ADOR and NewJeans.

Min Hee Jin’s team added, "We hope they will face criminal penalties for their actions."

Earlier this month, on the 20th, Min Hee Jin resigned from her role as an internal director at ADOR, leaving both ADOR and HYBE. In response, ADOR expressed regret over her resignation, stating, "We will continue to do our best to support NewJeans and help them grow."

On the 22nd, Min Hee Jin also filed a defamation lawsuit against Belift Lab’s CEO Kim Tae Ho, Vice President Choi Yun Hyuk, Heo Se Ryeon, and Lee Ga Jun under the Information and Communication Network Act, seeking 5 billion KRW in damages.
