BTS’s Jin has made his way into the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart with his solo track "Running Wild."
On November 26 (KST), Billboard shared the news that Jin’s title track from his solo album Happy has debuted at No. 53 on the Hot 100 for the chart dated November 30. This marks Jin’s second time charting on the Hot 100 as a solo artist. His first solo track, “The Astronaut” (ranked No. 51), made its debut in 2022.
With this new achievement, Jin has made an impressive return to the spotlight, making waves on Billboard’s main charts. Happy, the album featuring "Running Wild," is also set to debut at No. 4 on the Billboard 200, further showing his global popularity. Additionally, "Running Wild" has seen great success on other major Billboard charts, ranking No. 4 on the Global chart (excluding the U.S.) and No. 5 on the Global 200.
Released on November 15, "Running Wild" is a pop-rock track with British rock influences and a new wave sound. The song carries a hopeful message, encouraging listeners to run toward hope with everything they’ve got. Upon its release, it marked a career-high for Jin, charting in the top 10 on Spotify’s Daily Top Song Global (No. 8) and Weekly Top Song Global (No. 10), as well as No. 25 on the UK Official Singles Chart.
In addition, Jin will be releasing a new track, "Nege Dhal Ge Ttakkaji (feat. Taka)," on November 26. This song features Taka, the vocalist of the Japanese band ONE OK ROCK, who also contributed to the album’s title track. The collaboration promises to offer a fresh take on deep emotions, with Jin’s captivating vocals paired with Taka’s powerful voice.
Jin’s latest success is a clear reminder of his ever-growing impact as a solo artist on the global stage.
