BTS member Jungkook proved his global star power once again by taking home three awards at the 2024 MAMA Awards, held at Kyocera Dome Osaka, Japan, on November 23.

Jungkook received the Best Male Artist and Best Dance Performance Male Solo awards, adding to his win from Chapter 1 of the awards the day before, where he earned the Fans’ Choice Male Top 10 title. This brought his total to three awards at the event.

His award for Best Dance Performance Male Solo was for “Standing Next to You", the lead track from his debut solo album GOLDEN, released in November 2023.

Known for his “flawless performances,” Jungkook’s dynamic choreography with a standing microphone and his unmatched stage charisma impressed fans and critics alike, cementing his status as one of the top solo performers in K-pop today.

In December 2023, Jungkook took things a step further by releasing a remix of Standing Next to You with R&B legend Usher. The duo’s performance video left fans speechless and added another layer of success to the track.

The night was a massive win for BTS overall, as the group secured seven trophies. Jimin took home two awards, including the grand prize VISA Fans’ Choice of the Year and Fans’ Choice Male Top 10. RM and V also received Fans’ Choice Male Top 10 awards, showcasing BTS's continued dominance.

Notably, BTS has won the Fans’ Choice of the Year award for six years in a row, a streak that began in 2018. Jimin’s win this year further highlighted the group’s unmatched popularity among fans worldwide.

Jungkook’s solo career is equally impressive. His debut solo single, Seven (feat. Latto), became a global sensation in July 2023, topping the Billboard Hot 100 and reaching 1 billion Spotify streams faster than any other track.

He followed it with 3D (feat. Jack Harlow) and Standing Next to You, both of which debuted at No. 5 on the Hot 100. Jungkook is the only Korean solo artist to have three songs in the top 5 of the Billboard Hot 100, solidifying his place as a solo artist to watch.

BTS member Jin is taking the world by storm with his hit song Running Wild.

Released on November 15, Running Wild is the title track from Jin's first solo album, Happy. The song blends a fresh new wave sound with British rock influences and pop rock elements, catching the attention of fans worldwide.

On November 21, Running Wild reached the top spot on Spotify Japan's Daily Top Songs chart, showing its massive popularity.

It also ranked No. 2 on the Spotify Top Songs chart in Korea and No. 6 globally, proving its broad appeal.

Jin’s solo album Happy has also been a huge success. It sold over 219,000 copies on its first day, making it the third-highest album sales for a K-pop solo artist in Oricon Weekly Album Chart history.

In just three days, Happy reached No. 1 on the Hanteo Country-by-Country Chart in Japan for the third week of November, solidifying Jin's status as a top global artist.
