Korean content has taken over Disney+ viewership in the Asia-Pacific region, with The Shop for Killers ranking as the top series, and BTS's variety show Is This Real? leading the entertainment category.

On November 21, 2024, the Disney Content Showcase took place at the Marina Bay Sands Convention Center in Singapore, drawing over 400 journalists from 12 countries, including 100 from Korea.

The event highlighted original content from Korea and Japan, with many stars and directors in attendance, such as Kim Hye Soo and Jung Sung Il from Trigger, and Park Eun Bin and Seol Kyung Gu from Hyper Knife.

Carol Choi, Head of Original Content Strategy for Disney Asia-Pacific, shared exciting news about Korean content's success. The Disney Content Showcase, which previews future theatrical and streaming releases, took place over two days (November 20-21) in Singapore. With K-content continuing to thrive, it’s clear that Korea’s influence on global entertainment is growing stronger.
